A former Nickelodeon star was killed in Brooklyn, New York, on Friday.
Kianna Underwood, who previously starred in several Nickelodeon shows as a child, was killed in a hit-and-run accident.
According to police reports, Underwood was struck by a vehicle while she was walking on a crosswalk.

Former Nickelodeon child star Kianna Underwood was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Brooklyn early Friday, Fox News Digital confirmed with the New York Police Department. She was 33.
Police said Underwood was struck by an SUV while crossing an intersection in the Brownsville neighborhood. She was hit again by a second vehicle. Both drivers fled the and remain unidentified.
“On Friday, January 16, 2026, at approximately 6:43 a.m., police responded to a 9-1-1 call of a pedestrian struck at Pitkin Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard within the confines of the 73rd Precinct,” a DCPI spokesperson told Fox News Digital.
Investigators said the crash unfolded as a black SUV approached the intersection.
“Further investigation by the NYPD Highway District Collision Investigation Squad determined that a black 2021 Ford Explorer SUV, operated by an unidentified individual, was traveling westbound on Pitkin Avenue with a green light signal.”
Police said the driver then made a dangerous turn, crossing into oncoming traffic to pass another vehicle.
“It crossed over the double yellow line and traveled counterflow … and struck a 33-year-old woman who was attempting to cross Pitkin Avenue.”
Authorities said Underwood was in the crosswalk at the time of the collision. After the initial impact, police said Underwood was hit a second time while lying in the roadway.

People reported more details on Underwood’s career:
Outside of her 2005 appearance on All That, Underwood appeared in many television shows and films throughout her career.
She voiced Fuschia Glover for 23 episodes from 1999 to 2004 in Little Bill, and later appeared in The 24 Hour Woman, in which she starred opposite Rosie Perez, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Patti LuPone and more.
She also had a minor role in Death of a Dynasty, a satirical comedy about the hip-hop industry, starring Kevin Hart. Outside of her onscreen roles, Underwood spent a year on stage, performing as little Inez during the first national tour of Hairspray.
Underwood was born in New York City and later relocated to Los Angeles, according to The New York Post.
