People who work with their hands usually hesitate to throw away their freedom and standard of living in favor of slavery and poverty imposed through communism. Marxists call this resistance “false consciousness.”

When classical economic Marxism failed, leftists replaced it with cultural Marxism (a.k.a. political correctness, critical race theory, DEI). The concept of false consciousness endures. In the entertaining video below, it is employed to rescue a moonbat who demands that we “TRUST BLACK WOMEN” but who becomes flummoxed when reminded that even some black women voted for Trump:

How horrible it would be for liberals to have to choose between their fetishistic worship of blacks and their hatred of political opponents. The concept of false consciousness is certainly useful.
