Perverted sexual practices that had been almost universally regarded as repugnant are now embraced by an alarming percentage of the population. This did not happen spontaneously. LGBTism is a top-down revolution.

Hungarian Conservative provides confirmation from Europe:

Ahead of the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOT) on 17 May, multiple official EU accounts—including the European Commission and the European Parliament—published synchronized posts promoting LGBTQ rights and the bloc’s new LGBTIQ+ Equality Strategy 2026–2030.

As always, progressive social engineers framed LGBTification in terms of civil rights, characterized favored sexual deviants as somehow victimized, and egged them on to be more aggressively demonstrative. For example:

The Commission’s Justice and Consumers official account declared in a post on Facebook: ‘To be seen. To be safe. To be themselves,’ adding that ‘equality must be lived, not only stated.’ …

The official European Commission account echoed the messaging almost word-for-word, stating: ‘Everyone deserves to be seen. Everyone deserves to be safe,’ while adding that the EU ‘protect[s] what matters – freedoms and rights.’

President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen has repeatedly pledged her full support of sexual deviancy as a lifestyle.

Europe’s left-wing ruling class does not stop at propaganda to achieve its objectives:

Just a month earlier, the Court of Justice of the European Union ruled that Hungary’s 2021 child protection act, prohibiting LGBTQ-related content from being promoted to minors in media, violated EU law and breached the bloc’s core values.

With Big Government, advocacy soon gives way to tyranny:

The broader framework behind the current campaign is the European Commission’s LGBTIQ+ Equality Strategy 2026–2030, which seeks to integrate LGBTQ equality policies across multiple EU policy areas, strengthen anti-discrimination enforcement, and increase EU-level coordination on issues such as hate speech, gender identity recognition, and conversion therapy bans. The Commission also recently announced plans to push for an EU-wide ban on conversion therapy practices.

A ban on conversion therapy would criminalize providing constructive therapy to those struggling with perverse urges and gender confusion.

This begs the question, Why are ruling elites hell-bent on imposing homosexuality and transsexualism?
