Erika Kirk: “Charlie loved and had deep devotion to St. Michael”

Well folks, I’m going to report on this and then let you decide what you think…

But let’s just say I have some serious questions.

Erika Kirk was on Fox News recently and this segment is going viral.

She talks about how much devotion Charlie had to….Saint Michael the Archangel.

Yup.

Not Jesus.

Michael the Archangel.

Watch here and then we’ll break it all down in a minute:

So, when we first started dating, I asked him, I was like, “Why don’t you wear a cross?”

He said, “You say you’re a Christian, but you don’t wear a cross,” and he was like, “Eh, I don’t know. I’m really not a jewelry guy.”

And I was like, “I understand.”

So, for his first birthday present, I got him this cross.

And then throughout time, I would always add different medals to it, and so he always… he loved St. Michael.

And so, yeah, every time he put this on, he just felt like it was his armor.

Yeah.

It’s really sweet.

Ok so now let’s break it down…

You are of course free to believe and think whatever you want, but here’s what jumped out at me.  And don’t call me an Erika Kirk hater, I’m just keeping it real.

First, I think it’s pretty odd and telling that in her own story she demonstrates how little she seemingly cared about Charlie and his wishes.

She says she asked him why he didn’t wear a cross and he said because he wasn’t a jewelry guy….and so what does she do?  Immediately buys him a cross necklace to wear!

“So, for his first birthday present, I got him this cross.”

But of course the big stunner is her claim that Charlie was enamored with St. Michael or Michael the Archangel (are they the same person?  I think so?  I don’t know the Catholic vernacular well enough).

Anyway, she claims Charlie had a deep love for St. Michael and so that’s why he loved wearing this cross.

Sorry folks, but that’s where I have to call BS.

Now look, I don’t know what was in Charlie’s head or what he told Erika in private, but I do know Charlie was a VERY public figure and there are thousands upon thousands of hours of him speaking on video.

And there is no known video of him ever speaking about St. Michael, certainly not his deep love and admiration for St. Michael.

How do I know?

One, because I’ve watched a ton of Charlie Kirk videos and I’ve never ever seen it.

But of course I haven’t seen everything on the Internet, so I went to ChatGPT and to Grok and asked both of them to find any video clip anywhere online of Charlie Kirk speaking about St. Michael.

The result?

NOT ONE SINGLE ONE COULD BE FOUND.

Oh there’s plenty of Charlie speaking about Jesus Christ, but none about him praising Angels and Saints.

To the contrary, as recent as July 22, 2025 there is this clip of Charlie talking about the major issues he has with Catholicism:

And then there is this longer and truly excellent video of Charlie absolutely shredding Michael Knowles in a debate over Catholicism:

That one truly is a masterclass.

So I don’t know folks, I wasn’t privy to their private conversations and I certainly wasn’t in Charlie’s head to know his private thoughts, but I find the idea that he had this deep reverence for “St. Michael” and that’s why he wore a cross necklace that he didn’t really want to wear in the first place just kind of…..very hard to believe.

But that’s just me!
