A lot of the Left is a bunch of pusillanimous grifters terrified of anyone smarter, more creative, richer or happier than they are, which is just about everyone. Their ugliness has dripped all over the Trump Administrations 1.0 and 2.0, concentrating recently on Elon Musk. If only Elon and Trump had said, “In your face, puny Lefties”

I wrote about the Left celebrating and taking credit for Musk leaving yesterday. I wrote too soon. Things got worse after that. This is the title from a USA Today article: “Elon Musk’s rise and fall: From Trump’s chainsaw-wielding sidekick to a swift exit”.

Elon Musk arrived at the White House with a bang. He was the chainsaw-wielding government slasher and President Donald Trump’s chief sidekick who promised to gut the federal bureaucracy.

But he’s leaving four months later without the same swagger, after splitting with Trump over the president’s signature tax and spending bill and failing to deliver on the transformational savings that he hoped would drastically reduce the size of government.

Pusillanimous, right? Elon Musk is not going anywhere according to both Musk and Trump. It’s hard to do the $1 billion against the Swamp in three months, but Must didn’t do badly. In that time, Musk’s DOGE operation became firmly rooted in government, saved the taxpayer a reported $175 billion in immediate expenses, spared billions more in ongoing expenses over time. He saved about $1100.00 per household per and I will take that money in my pocket.

President Trump is committed to making the DOGE cuts permanent. The DOGE Tech Bros are not going anywhere. Many of them have signed up for different departments on a permanent basis. For those who think that Trump and Elon fell out or something, Grok knows:

For your situational awareness, Elon Musk can work 130 days per year. We’d like it, but his companies may not. SpaceX, Starlink, Neuralink, The Boring Company and Tesla need their leader back full time. Elon has limitless energy but limited time. He said he expects to continue to be a friend and advisor to President Trump. And, Elong still thinks they will find all of the savings and fraud in the governent.

“The banal evil of bureaucracy”, is part of how Elon described how things got so bad with overspending in the government. He said that people will fight to keep every ill-gotten dollar they steal from the government coffers and that sometimes the fight is just not worth it. He also mentioned “complaint minimization”. He is 100% right.

Musk’s final joint press conference with Trump also comes in the midst of a tough news cycle for the tech billionaire. On Friday morning, The New York Times released a bombshell report about Musk’s alleged drug habits while he was working his way into Trump’s inner circle.

Musk did not work to inveigle his way into Trump’s circle. He’s not a grifting Leftie. More:

Citing sources close to the SpaceX CEO, the Times claims that Musk admitted to people around him that he used ketamine frequently, sometimes daily, to the point that it had started to damage his bladder. A September 2022 study by the National Institute of Health notes that “significant side effects on the urinary tract are associated with frequent recreational ketamine use.”

According to the newspaper, Musk also allegedly used ecstasy and hallucinogenic mushrooms, and was known to travel with a pill box that contained Adderall, the ADHD treatment drug, which can be a stimulant for some.

The Times’ sources pin Musk’s drug abuse to 2024, as the SpaceX CEO was ramping up support for Trump’s reelection campaign, donating nearly $275 million. It’s unclear whether or not the alleged drug use followed him into the White House, however, public displays of erratic behavior — such as proudly displaying a Nazi-like salute and wielding a chainsaw onstage at a political conference — continued after the inauguration.
