(NewsNation) — A former assistant, referred only under the pseudonym “Mia,” will continue her testimony Friday in the criminal trial for Sean “Diddy Combs after alleging she was sexually assaulted by the music producer a number of times.
Mia, who worked for Combs from 2009 to 2017, has given emotional testimony about being subjected to violence and sexual assault during her employment.
She recounted years of alleged abuse, including physical violence, sexual assault, extreme working conditions and psychological manipulation.
In her testimony, Mia said Combs had “thrown things at me … thrown me against the wall … thrown me in a pool … slammed my arm into a door … he’s sexually assaulted me.”
She told the jury Combs’ moods were unpredictable and that he could become violent.
He was a “chaotic” and “toxic” boss, she said, and when working for him, “the highs were really high, the lows were really low,” and everything depended on “Puff’s mood.”
Mia alleged Combs raped her in his Beverly Hill home. She testified that while she slept at the residence, she woke up to “the weight of a person on top of me.” She said it was “Puff,” a name Combs has used in previous years.
“I remember, I remember it was sort of like him telling me, ‘Shh, be quiet’ and using one hand to get his pants undone,” she said.
Mia was the second of four accusers listed in Combs’ indictment. While they are all not named, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura has publicly stated she was “Victim 1.”
Mia said she and Ventura became very close, like sisters.
She said Combs would take things away “all the time” from Ventura when he was upset. At times, it was Mia’s job to “keep tabs” on Ventura for him.
Mia said she witnessed Combs become violent with Ventura a number of times.
“I’ve seen him attack her. I’ve seen him crack her head open,” she testified Thursday.
Ventura did not fight back, Mia said.
Mia recounted an alleged episode in which she described Combs as “crazy aggressive,” corroborating an incident described by Deonte Nash, Ventura’s former stylist, earlier this week.
Both Nash and Mia testified they had to jump onto Combs in an attempt to stop him from harming Ventura.
Mia said during that attack, Combs took Ventura into the bedroom, where she believed “he’s actually gonna kill her.” She said Combs pushed Ventura’s head into the bedframe’s “sharpest, strongest corner” and that she began “gushing blood.”
Mia said Combs’ “eyes turned black” during the episode and that she felt “severe danger.”
