DERANGED: Woman SUCKER PUNCHES Pro-Life Activist In the Face, Claims She is the Real Victim

On Thursday, pro-life activist Savannah Craven Antao was savagely attacked while interviewing a deranged, pro-abortion leftist on the streets in New York.

Savannah was asking the woman questions when, suddenly, she snapped and punched Savannah right in the face.

The attack left Savannah bloody and battered.

Savannah claimed that the woman, who has since come forward as Brianna Rivers, was initially polite and complimented her dress.

It was only after learning about her pro-life views that Brianna attacked Savannah.

Following the attack, Savannah and her husband called police.

She also had to go to the hospital in order to get stitches.

Fox News reported:

Tensions flared as Antao’s subject appeared to push back against her viewpoints.

“You don’t understand the magnitude of having a child,” the interviewee said into the host’s mic.

“I’m not the one who admitted they would be OK with killing babies in foster care and killing children that had been abused,” Antao replied.

“That’s not the point,” the interview subject said, stopping mid-speech and delivering two blows straight to Antao’s face. The reporter was sent reeling off camera as the attacker walked away from the scene.

Antao shared images and footage of her face following the attack in an Instagram post. She captioned the post, stating, “I was just assaulted in Harlem interviewing people on the street. In cop car. Heading to hospital. Updates soon. ABORTION SUPPORTERS ARE VIOLENT!”

The images revealed that she had been cut somewhere near her eyebrow, leading to blood covering her face. A video clip showed her riding in the back of a police vehicle attempting to describe her attacker to the officers.

“She’s big. She’s tall,” the journalist told the officers as they drove to the hospital. So far, her attacker has yet to be identified.

Her husband, Henry Antao, described the incident to Live Action, stating, “The woman became aggressive and violent upon learning Savannah’s pro-life stance. I intervened to protect my wife and we immediately called 911. The police arrived, and we provided them with the assailant’s photo and description. We hope justice will be served soon.”

Now, a few days after violently attacking an innocent woman for expressing her belief that killing babies is wrong, Brianna Rivers is taking to social media to play the victim.

She offered a non-apology to Savannah on Facebook, saying that while she understands “hands being put on someone” (a.k.a sucker punching someone in the face) “is never the answer,” she is actually the real victim here.

According to Brianna, Savannah is a “professional antagonist” who “railroaded” her into violence. She doesn’t deserve for her reputation to be tarnished over this.

Poor baby.

I need a platform to share my side of events. She has 7million views making me out to be a “child killing” monster when she knows the truth. She railroaded me into all of this. She needs to release the unedited footage with her relentless antagonization on a subject that is very touch. I will not allow my image to be defamed by this woman’s actions. Anyone who knows me knows how respectful I am, I don’t even litter, there’s no way you believe I’m punching people for disagreeing with my POV

The caption read:

I understand hands being put on someone is never the answer, but throwing rocks and hiding hands is worse. She knows the truth and she needs to release the footage in its entirety. The woman who socked a pro-life reporter in the face during a filmed interview offered an apology Saturday — but claimed her “antagonistic” victim goaded her into violence.

Brianna Rivers, of the Bronx, admitted she was wrong for slugging Savannah Craven Antao, a reporter for pro-life advocacy group Live Action.

“To Savannah, I sincerely apologize but cannot sit around and allow you to continue pushing this one sided narrative. I understand hands being put on someone is never the answer, but throwing rocks and hiding hands is worse,” Rivers wrote in a Facebook post.

“She knows the truth and she needs to release the footage in its entirety. Savannah is a professional antagonist not a ‘reporter’ and the truth will be told.”

Rivers shared a note accusing Craven Antao of intentionally antagonizing her during their man-on-the-street interview in Harlem, in which Craven Antao repeatedly cut the pro-choice Rivers off while she spoke.

Rivers also accused Craven Antao of editing the footage to remove what she called “relentless antagonization” and the moments leading up to the sucker punch.

This is just insanely ridiculous.

Ms. Rivers needs to be held accountable for brutally attacking Savannah Antao.

Justice must be served.

And yet, many leftists are buying into Brianna’s victim story, commenting in support of her on social media.
