During President Donald Trump’s Capitol Hill address, he highlighted the story of one female volleyball player seriously injured when a biological male on the opposing team forcefully spiked the ball directly at her:

But for one Democratic lawmaker in Minnesota, it’s the self-identified transgender athletes who are the real victims in this ongoing cultural dispute:
As Breitbart reported:
During the debate over a possible ban of transgender athletes from girl’s sports in Minnesota, Democrat Rep. Liish Kozlowski went on a tear Monday against the bill being discussed, Fox News reported.
Kozlowski, who also claims to be the “only two-spirit” member of the state legislature and has the pronouns “they/them” on her social media, said that the bill, HF12, is intended to “bully trans and non-binary kids.”
“Problematic bills like HF12, a bill to bully trans and non-binary kids… It’s not about fairness in sports; it’s about erasing trans girls, non-binary, and two-spirit kids and people from public life.” “I can assure you that our children will not stop being transgender just because you try to remove us from sports,” Kozlowski railed.
“As politicians and unelected billionaires from the White House to here in the Minnesota House, we’re seeing this doubling down of efforts in an agenda of division of stoking fear, of stoking harm on our communities,” the left-wing rep. added.
Kozlowksi went on to declare such efforts the equivalent of “state-sanctioned genocide.”

Here’s some additional coverage of the player recognized by Trump earlier this week:
19-year-old Payton McNabb was severely injured by a man during a volleyball game — left with a traumatic brain injury after he spiked the ball against her head.

The player, Payton McNabb, reacted to the cold reception Democrats gave Trump during the address, as Fox News reported:
McNabb told Fox News Digital that the reaction of Democrats was not surprising, but was “heartbreaking” nonetheless.
“Last night, just overall, the Democrat Party was so disrespectful,” McNabb said. “And they didn’t stand up for any of the guests, they didn’t stand up for DJ Daniel, who is the young boy who survived brain cancer, they didn’t stand up for Laken Riley’s family, whose daughter literally suffered a traumatic death that should have never happened, and every other guest that was there had some sort of powerful story, and they didn’t clap for any of that.
“So it was heartbreaking, and honestly I wish I could say I was surprised, but I’m not.”
Most of the Democratic congresswomen in attendance Tuesday night wore pink to protest Trump in support of women’s rights. However, those congresswomen chose to do that one day after Senate Democrats voted nearly unanimously to block the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act.
