CPAC invades Beverly Hills: ‘Into the belly of the beast’

Nothing says conservatives are back more than this: In two weeks, CPAC will host a one-day conference in Beverly Hills to challenge the epicenter of “woke” culture head-on.

It will be the first time the representative of activist conservatives will host an event in Hollywood, where center-right politics are mocked and shunned.

But it comes as the left’s politics and agenda are under fire for going too far, and CPAC would like to lay claim to helping to end the dismantling of traditional American culture.

CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp told Secrets, “I never would have done it, but we have been asked to go into the belly of the beast. My phone is buzzing with people who want to partner.”

He’s not stepping lightly into Tinseltown. The May 2 event will be at the royal Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, and the URL for the event website references one of the most famous zip codes in America, CPAC.ORG/90210.

In addition to featuring conservative speakers and celebrities from Hollywood and its industries, Schlapp said that there will be some “celebrating” for helping President Donald Trump win his election and stalling the liberal efforts to change America.

“We are seen as playing an important role in the woke pushback and the Trump resurrection,” he said. “It’s been a painful decade, but we helped reignite hope. At least politically, maybe even deeper,” he added.

“It’s a pretty big deal for America’s second chance. And so it’s OK to spike the ball,” Schlapp added.
