The right sort of criminal can get away with anything where moonbats prevail. Ask Tyree Smith, found innocent by reason of insanity of eating an eyeball and part of the brain of Angel Gonzalez, whom he confessed to murdering with an axe in 2011.

Smith was committed to Connecticut Valley Hospital for 60 years. But you know how that goes when libs are in a position to set criminals loose. This is one of the reasons the death penalty in necessary.
Smith will first receive day passes but will be confined to the hospital’s grounds. As he makes progress, he will receive additional freedoms, such as supervised off-site visits.
Those responsible for unleashing him on the public will face no consequences if he kills and eats again.
