Colorado prosecutors have just dropped all charges against 38-year-old Solomon Galligan, a registered sex offender who tried to kidnap an 11-year-old boy who was playing at recess.

If I was a kid, I’d be terrified even seeing this guy walking up to me — let alone trying to snatch me!

Heck, I’d be freaked out as an adult.

When you see his mugshot, you’ll see why:

He looks like he could be straight out of The Walking Dead

Last year, Galligan approached a group of 5th graders at Black Forest Hills Elementary School.

He tried to grab one of the boys but lost his grip after tripping over a blanket.

Police tracked him down and arrested him.

A video of the attempted kidnapping was released:

NEW: Registered s*x offender who tried kidnapping an 11-year-old boy during recess is set to walk free as prosecutors plan to drop the charges.

33-year-old Solomon Galligan was captured on camera trying to kidnap an 11-year-old boy in Aurora, Colorado.

The 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office now plans on dismissing Galligan’s charges because he is “incompetent to stand trial,” according to FOX31.

The District Attorney’s office says they are “planning to drop charges against the defendant, which is required by law when they are found mentally incompetent to stand trial.”

The thugs who are letting him out are just as evil as he is.

Colorado’s Democrat District-Attorney Amy Padden has decided to drop all charges against Galligan, citing “mental incompetency.”

Denver 7 reported:

Solomon Galligan, 34, is charged with kidnapping and child abuse after investigators say he lunged at a child playing outside at Black Hills Elementary School on April 19, 2024.

The whole ordeal was captured on surveillance video, showing the suspect wearing a blue hoodie with dark pants and holding a white blanket. He could be seen walking up to the children on the field before the kids started running away from him, police said in a probable cause statement.

According to Eric Ross, a spokesperson for the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, a doctor found Galligan incompetent to stand trial last month.

“… by state statute, we are required to dismiss charges in the case,” said Ross.

Denver7 Investigates has extensively covered a law that changed in Colorado last summer, requiring judges to dismiss cases in which defendants are found incompetent and not restorable.

Galligan has a history of mental illness, including schizophrenia.

Oh, and by the way, he started identifying himself as a woman and taking hormone pills the same year he was convicted of sexual assault.

Frankly, he sounds and looks demonically possessed.

The New York Post has more on his history:

She said her sibling, who was diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder when he was 16, was deemed unfit to stand trial in previous instances and wasn’t institutionalized because of a shortage of beds in mental-health centers.

“It just really sucks he had to do something so eye-catching for everybody to see he’s not well, and he’s not OK to be out and be on his own,” she said at the time.

Amanda Morris, Solomon’s niece, added, “This has been like the fourth time that we’re sitting here thinking, ‘How the hell did he get released? Who’s letting him out?’ “

Solomon Galligan shared the news of his gender transition in a 2011 Facebook post and later identified as a woman. That same year he was placed on the sex-offender registry after he was convicted of non-consent sexual contact.

“So im starting my hormone shots and i relly cant wait im on my hormone pills ive been on them for almost 4 months i wake up all depressed and crying but in the end its gonna be totally worth it you know what io mean im really excited my measurements are already changing and im super thrilled,” he wrote at the time.

This man does not need to be out among the public — especially not anywhere near children.

Instead of facing jail time for attempted kidnapping, Galligan will be committed to a mental health facility.

Per Fox News:

After his arrest, Galligan underwent a mental competency evaluation that determined he was unfit to stand trial. As a result, prosecutors claimed they have no choice but to drop the charges.

“When a defendant is found mentally incompetent to stand trial and is being civilly committed for mental health treatment, we are legally obligated to dismiss charges per state law,” the district attorney’s office told Fox News Digital.

“However, we have until the end of the month to file a formal Motion to Dismiss. This has not yet occurred.”

An attempt to recall DA Amy Padden — the woman responsible for this decision — is now underway.

The recall against DA Padden is being led by Auroria City Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky.

She spoke to The New York Post:

But Aurora City Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky disputed that stance and told The Post an “effort” to “recall” Democratic DA Amy Padden “is well under way and will begin this week” — and ensured that it will be successful.

“The conduct of the 18th DA over the past six months is beyond deplorable. This is simply the icing on the cake,” said Jurinsky, a Republican.

“The progressive attitude will not be tolerated,” she said. “While certain state laws highlight deeper issues in the state of Colorado, Amy Padden will be recalled for her part in not upholding the laws and punishing criminals.”

What do you think?

Should this creepy lunatic be jailed for trying to kidnap an 11-year-old boy?

Should Amy Padden be recalled as Colorado DA?
