In a very bizarre case, all charges have just been dropped against a Miami deputy who allegedly hit a man pretending to be a woman after bringing this man home believing he was, in fact, a woman.

That sentence may have been a bit confusing, so allow me to explain…

54-year-old Lt. Daniel Chala was charged in April after he brought a “woman” he met at a club while drunk back to his apartment. According to his attorney, he had no idea that “she” was, in fact, a “he.”

Upon learning he had a penis, Chala kicked the lunatic out of his apartment.

The “victim” says that Chala assaulted him, but Chala denies that claim.

Derrick Evans shared:

Local 10 reported:

Daniel Chala, a 30-year veteran of the agency, was initially arrested in April on charges of false imprisonment and battery.

The false imprisonment charge, however, was dropped in bond court the following day.

The remaining battery charge has also been dropped by the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office following an investigation.

According to an arrest report from the Miami Police Department, officers responded to Chala’s apartment building on the morning of April 28 where they found the alleged victim who said that she had been assaulted by Chala.

NBC Miami added:

“After numerous attempts to get the victim to cooperate with the SAO for the necessary pre-filing conference (a necessary part of every filed felony prosecution), the victim refused to assist with the case investigation. This resulted in the dropping of the pending criminal case,” the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office said in a statement.

Chala was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center nearly two months ago on charges of battery and false imprisonment, records showed.

An arrest report stated that the victim said she met Chala at the nightclub at 29 Northeast 11th Street. When she said she was going to leave, Chala allegedly invited her back to his place.

Once inside Chala’s apartment, the victim told authorities that she took off her shoes, walked to Chala’s bedroom, and sat on his bed. The two kissed, and then the suspect “asked the victim a question, which confused the victim due to it being previously answered.”

The arrest report does not state what the question was that led to this mentally-ill “transgender” being kicked out of Chala’s apartment, but you can probably guess…

Now, I don’t ever recommend bringing any women back to your home while under the influence of alcohol.

But, especially not in today’s age, it seems…

It’s good to see that, at least in this case, the justice system sided the guy who was duped.

Now, don’t get me wrong, in most cases, it’s pretty easy to tell a “trans woman” from a real woman (unless you’re super drunk apparently.)

Still, this case does raise serious questions about the law regarding so-called “gender fraud” — that is when a man or woman cons someone else into believing they really are the opposite gender.

Like, in the case of a sick-in-the-head “transgender” dating a normal person without telling them their actual, real sex.

Sounds like a very perverted scam.

What are your thoughts?

Should laws be enacted to punish those who commit “gender fraud”?
