Candace Owens says her accusations against French President Emmanuel Macron have now landed squarely on the desks of America’s top officials, and she is challenging them to respond.

In a new post on X, Owens announced that her show “will be off air this week” and said “both the White House and our counterterrorism agencies have confirmed receipt of what I reported publicly,” referring to her claim that Macron “attempted to organize my assassination, per a source close to the first couple.” She again linked the French state to the killing of Charlie Kirk, stating that “French legionnaires were involved in Charlie Kirk’s assassination but they did not act alone.”

Owens then turned her fire on critics who dismissed her initial warning as delusional or self-promotional. “For all of you who doubted my claims,” she wrote, “you can now look to the President of the United States and our intelligence communities to issue a statement to confirm whether I am telling the truth.” The move raises the stakes from an online firestorm to a direct demand for on-the-record confirmation or denial from the highest levels of the U.S. government.

National File previously reported Owens’ original allegation that a high-ranking French government insider told her the Macrons had effectively given a “green light” for her assassination and tied French assets to Kirk’s murder, as well as Telegram founder Pavel Durov’s assessment that her information about possible French involvement in Kirk’s death was “entirely plausible.”

Now, with Owens saying the White House and counterterror officials have formally acknowledged receiving her evidence, the question is no longer whether she will stand by her story, but whether Washington or Paris will publicly address it.
