Well folks, the “Schumer Shutdown” is in full effect.
Despite Democrat efforts to blame it all on President Trump, even CNN appears to know whose fault it really is…
During an appearance on CNN this morning, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer was left speechless when liberal host John Brennan dared to ask him to respond to Republicans dubbing it “the Schumer Shutdown!”
Schumer literally did not reply for several long moments, then claimed he couldn’t hear the question due to apparent ‘audio issues.’
Hilariously, Berman followed up with this zinger: “Maybe the government shutdown included audio on Capitol Hill!”
Watch for yourself:
Brutal scene on Capitol Hill
CNN: “Every Republican has called this the Schumer Shutdown. What do you say about that?”
SCHUMER: *crickets*
CNN: “Can you hear me?
SCHUMER: “I can’t hear.”

Oof.
That’s almost as embarrassing as Hakeem Jeffries melting down on MSNBC after President Trump meme’d him into oblivion.
It’s also kind of hilarious how Schumer replied to Brennan’s question asking if he could hear the previous question…
How dumb does he think we are?
CNN: Schumer, can you hear me?
SCHUMER: “…I can’t hear.”
Read
Schumer: I can hear you asking if I heard you but I can’t hear your question about the shutdown.
