The Trump Administration just released this statement from Marco Rubio:
Here’s what we know so far:
Israel launched direct strikes on Iran, with explosions reported in Tehran, after months of heightened tensions and military exchanges.
A state of emergency was declared in Israel, anticipating potential retaliation from Iran.
The escalation follows Iran’s first direct strike on Israel in April 2024, which prompted Israeli counterattacks, including destruction of part of Iran’s S-300 air defense system.
In October 2024, Iran launched a ballistic missile strike, and Israel responded later that month by targeting military and missile storage facilities in Iran.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu confirmed that Israel’s October strike partially degraded part of Iran’s nuclear program.
Nuclear negotiations resumed in April 2025 between the U.S. (under Trump) and Iran, mediated by Oman, with initial optimism but rising tension over demands.
Trump advised Israel to hold off on strikes and allow negotiations to proceed, according to reports.
U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff initially proposed limiting Iran’s enrichment to 3.67%, but later stated Iran must eliminate enrichment entirely.
Talks progressed through April and May, with mixed signals—some optimism but also hardline positions from both Washington and Tehran.
A sixth round of talks was scheduled for June 15, but it is now unclear if that will proceed following Israel’s latest strike.
I have to agree with this:

Just yesterday I warned you of this:
Ezekiel 38 War About To Play Out Before Your Eyes…
Is the Ezekiel 38 War about to play out on the world stage?
It sure does look like it.
My good friend Jovan Pulitzer seems to think so, he just posted this:
So what is the Ezekiel 38 war anyway?
It’s widely believed that this is the war where Russia and Iran join forces and bring terror on the world.
Let’s go straight to the text:
Ezekiel 38
1 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
3 And say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.
7 Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.
8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.
9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.
10 Thus saith the Lord God; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord God; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?
15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:
16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.
17 Thus saith the Lord God; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?
18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord God, that my fury shall come up in my face.
19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord God: every man’s sword shall be against his brother.
22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
Ok, so now let me help you decode that.
Because in modern times we don’t know who all those people and places are, so here’s a quick cheat sheet of who’s who:
Summary of Common Modern Equivalents
Biblical Name Common Modern Interpretation Gog A future political/military leader Magog Russia Meshech Russia or part of Turkey Tubal Russia or part of Turkey Persia Iran Cush Sudan and/or Ethiopia Put Libya Gomer Turkey or parts of Eastern Europe Beth-Togarmah Turkey or Caucasus region
Interpretive Notes:
Not all scholars agree: Some believe Ezekiel 38 describes a past or symbolic battle, not a future literal war.
Geographic clues: Verse 15 refers to Gog coming from “the uttermost parts of the north” — north of Israel points directly to Russia.
Iran’s presence is clear: As Persia, Iran is explicitly named and widely accepted in all interpretations.
Turkey is often included due to the references to Gomer and Togarmah.
Who leads the invasion?
Gog, seen as the military or political leader of this northern alliance (often equated with a Russian leader or federation head), leads the charge.
The coalition includes Iran, North African nations, and Turkey, converging on Israel, which is described as dwelling in peace and security.
Now let’s tie it all together by the breaking news happening right now.
An Israeli and perhaps US strike on Iran is believed to be imminent, which will set off a series of related and potentially unstoppable events:

Here’s a quick summary of what we know so far:
The U.S. Embassy in Baghdad is preparing for a limited evacuation of nonessential personnel due to rising regional tensions.
The State Department and Pentagon are also authorizing voluntary departures of U.S. military families from parts of the Middle East, including Bahrain and Kuwait.
Tensions with Iran have escalated, especially after Iran’s defense minister warned that all U.S. bases in the region are within reach if conflict arises.
President Donald Trump expressed doubt about reaching a nuclear deal with Iran but emphasized he wants to avoid war while firmly opposing a nuclear-armed Iran.
The Baghdad embassy was already on limited staffing, so the evacuation affects relatively few people.
CENTCOM has submitted strike plans to the White House as a contingency, but diplomacy remains the stated preference.
Iran claims its nuclear program is peaceful and accuses the U.S. of fueling instability through its military presence.
The UK maritime agency warned ships to steer clear of hotspots like the Persian Gulf and Strait of Hormuz due to rising risks of military action.
PBS had more details on the Baghdad withdrawal:
The State Department said it has ordered the departure of all nonessential personnel from the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad based on its latest review and a commitment “to keeping Americans safe, both at home and abroad.” The embassy already had been on limited staffing, and the order will not affect a large number of personnel.
The department, however, also is authorizing the departure of nonessential personnel and family members from Bahrain and Kuwait. That gives them an option on whether to leave those countries.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth also “has authorized the voluntary departure of military dependents from locations” across the region, U.S. Central Command said in a statement. The command “is monitoring the developing tension in the Middle East.”
White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly confirmed the moves.
“The State Department regularly reviews American personnel abroad, and this decision was made as a result of a recent review,” Kelly said.
Tensions in the region have been rising in recent days as talks between the U.S. and Iran over its rapidly advancing nuclear program appear to have hit an impasse. The talks seek to limit Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of some of the crushing economic sanctions that the U.S. has imposed on the Islamic Republic. Iran insists its nuclear program is peaceful.
The next round of talks — the sixth — had been tentatively scheduled for this weekend in Oman, according to two U.S. officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss diplomatic matters. However, those officials said Wednesday that it looked increasingly unlikely that the talks would happen.
President Donald Trump, who has previously threatened to use military force against Iran if negotiations failed, gave a less-than-optimistic view about reaching a deal with Iran, telling the New York Post’s “Pod Force One” podcast that he was “getting more and more less confident about” a deal.
“They seem to be delaying, and I think that’s a shame. I’m less confident now than I would have been a couple of months ago. Something happened to them,” he said in the interview, which was recorded on Monday.
Meanwhile, President Trump is set to host the Grand Military Parade in D.C. in just a few days this coming Saturday, June 14th, an event that is looking more and more like a show of force possibly preceding a world conflict and less and less like just a home-town parade:

Military.com reports that the soldiers will stay in federal bulidings:
Thousands of soldiers coming to Washington, D.C., next month will be housed in government buildings in the city as part of an unusual military parade, an idea originally floated by President Donald Trump during his first term in office.
The June 14 military parade, which coincides with Trump’s 79th birthday, will include about 6,600 soldiers as well as tanks, armored personnel carriers and aircraft on top of other festivities throughout the week in celebration of the Army’s 250th birthday, according to the service. Roughly 150 vehicles, including Strykers, M1 Abrams tanks and Humvees, along with 50 aircraft, will take part.
The soldiers will come from all 10 of the Army’s active-duty divisions located across the country, and most will be housed in the General Services Administration and Agriculture Department buildings in the city, The Washington Post reported. All told, the festivities could cost between $25 million and $45 million, Army spokesperson Lt. Col. Ruth Castro said.
Celebratory events will start at the beginning of the week and will conclude with the parade, fireworks and a fitness competition, Castro said.
