BREAKING: House PASSES Resolution Denouncing Socialism — Here are the 98 Democrats Who Voted ‘No’

Ahead of President Trump’s meeting with newly-elected Mayor of New York City Zohran Mamdani, the House of Representatives just passed a resolution formally denouncing socialism.

As you probably know by now, Mamdani is a self-proclaimed socialist.

Stunningly, nearly one-hundred Democrats voted against the resolution.

They’re telling you exactly who they are.

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson announced:

Incredibly, 98 Democrats just voted AGAINST denouncing the horrors of BIG GOVERNMENT socialism.

The forced famines.
The forced jailing.
The killing fields.
Over 100 million lives lost.

It has ALWAYS made the lives of innocent people WORSE, and failed miserably EVERYWHERE it has been tried.

House Republicans made it clear: America will NEVER embrace Marxism.

Democrats refuse to say the same.

Some notable names among Democrats who just explicitly aligned themselves on the side of socialism include ‘Squad’ members AOC, Jasmine Crockett, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib.

‘Mad’ Maxine Waters, who visited Communist Dictator Fidel Castro in Cuba multiple times, also voted in support of socialism.

98 Democrats have outted themselves as sympathizers or supporters of Socialism, voting NO to the congressional resolution condemning it in America.

Thankfully, the rest of America does not agree with these radical democrats.

Another 47 representatives refused to vote (including 20 republicans who would not denounce totalitarian rule)

“Whereas socialist ideology necessitates a concentration of power that has, time and time again, collapsed into communist regimes, totalitarian rule, and brutal dictatorships; whereas socialism has repeatedly led to famine and mass murders, and the killing of over 100,000,000 people worldwide”

“Congress denounces socialism in all its forms, and opposes the implementation of socialist policies in the United States.”

The top four leading Democrats in the House, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, voted with Republicans to denounce socialism.

It’s important to note that this resolution is, in no way, binding.

However, it does send a message, especially with President Trump’s meeting with Zohran Mamdani just around the corner.

Republicans unanimously reject socialism…whereas, a troubling amount of Democrats support it!

It also points to a significant fracturing within the Democrat party.

On one hand, you have the more moderate leaders. And, on the other, you have radical, left-wing socialists like Mamdani and AOC.

In fact, a clear sign of this split happened on the House floor today, when a Democrat Congresswoman whose parents escaped Communist Cuba called out Maxine Waters.

The New York Post has more:

“Congress denounces socialism in all its forms, and opposes the implementation of socialist policies in the United States,” the resolution stated. Salazar’s parents fled Cuba following the takeover of Communist dictator Fidel Castro.

“Madame Waters, for decades you traveled to Cuba dozens of times to visit Fidel Castro personally, whom you considered your friend,” Salazar said on the floor while debating the resolution with Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), who later voted “no.”

Congresswoman Waters was in Havana and she saw the destruction of Biblical proportions that Castro caused on that island,” Salazar went on. “Madame Waters knew that thousands and thousands of Cubans were escaping on a raft, exposing their lives and their children to be eaten by the sharks.”

“She knew that Afro-Cubans were being beaten on the streets of Havana,” she added. “Madame Waters knew that the Cuban jails were full of political prisoners.”

“Object,” Waters responded. “I move to take her words down.”

Salazar voluntarily withdrew her remarks from the congressional record.

Rep. Robert Menendez (D-NJ), the son of incarcerated former Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ), whose parents fled Cuba years before Castro took power, was one of the Democrats who voted against the resolution.

Some members of Congress who endorsed Mamdani are proud socialists, including Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who also voted “no” on the resolution along with fellow members of the far-left “Squad.”

House Speaker emerita Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was also a “no” vote, along with AOC’s fellow city lawmakers Yvette Clarke, Adriano Espaillat, and Dan Goldman.

The vote took place shortly after Mamdani touched down at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport ahead of the scheduled 3 p.m. sitdown with Trump.

The 34-year-old has expressed a desire to “speak plainly” to the Republican president about how to make New York City more affordable.
