This is a huge breaking story….

Can you say FRAUD?

Oh my, this is bad and I hope the penalty is extremely severe.

As DOGE was coming to investigate the “US Institute of Peace” — yes, that’s a real Government Agency if you can believe it — Elon Musk says they swiftly deleted 1 terabyte of data before DOGE arrived.

The only problem?

They clearly did not consult Hillary Clinton on how to bleach-bit data, and so Elon’s team immediately recovered what they thought was deleted.

OOPS!

ELON: U.S. INSTITUTE OF PEACE TRIED TO DELETE TALIBAN FUNDING RECORDS—DOGE RECOVERED IT

Elon says the U.S. Institute of Peace deleted 1TB of financial data linking them to funding Taliban and Iraqi leadership—but DOGE wasn’t fooled.

According to Elon, the agency attempted to scrub the records, but DOGE engineers recovered the entire archive thanks to “their shocking incompetence with tech.”

The data reportedly includes detailed financial transfers tied to groups in Afghanistan and Iraq.

No comment yet from the agency.

Speaking of that name, Elon rightly points out that the truth is usually 100% opposite of whatever Government names something.

And here is Elon himself posting about recovering the deleted data:

Here’s more, from Newsweek:

Elon Musk has accused the U.S. Institute of Peace (USIP) of deleting a terabyte of financial data to “cover their crimes.”

Musk reposted a claim from the Conservative page ‘amuse’ on X (formerly Twitter) which stated that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) had found USIP contracts going to Afghanistan’s former chief of protocol, who had been a member of the Taliban, and to the Iraqi League for Youth.

Musk wrote on X: “They deleted a terabyte of financial data to cover their crimes, but they don’t understand technology, so we recovered it.”

He has not provided proof of this data recovery so far, or explained why these funds are criminal.

Newsweek has contacted USIP for comment.

Why It Matters
USIP is a nonpartisan organization funded by Congress and established in 1984 to promote conflict resolution and global peacebuilding. Nearly all its 300 employees were abruptly dismissed on Friday night, part of a sweeping move by the Trump administration, which has long pushed to eliminate it.

Musk has made several allegations concerning government organizations committing “crimes.” However, he himself had to delete a post last week in which he offered money to Wisconsin voters as his own AI chatbot, Grok, said it violated Wisconsin voting law.

Although Musk has now accused many government agencies of financial crimes, he has initiated no court proceedings so far against the agencies to hold them accountable for their alleged fraud.
