Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement congratulating President Trump after conducting air strikes against Iran’s nuclear sites.
“Congratulations President Trump. Your bold decision to target Iran’s nuclear facilities with the awesome and righteous might of the United States will change history,” Netanyahu said.
“History will record that President Trump acted to deny the world’s most dangerous regime the world’s most dangerous weapons. His leadership today has created a pivot of history that can help lead the Middle East and beyond to a future of prosperity and peace,” he continued.

Per CBS News:
The second week of the Israel-Iran war began with additional strikes targeting an Iranian nuclear research facility as Iran’s foreign minister issued a warning against the United States joining the conflict.
Early Saturday, smoke could be seen rising from an area near a mountain in Isfahan, where a local official said Israel had attacked the nuclear research facility in two waves.
The target was two centrifuge production sites, and the attacks came on top of strikes on other centrifuge production sites elsewhere in recent days, according to an Israeli military official speaking on condition of anonymity under army guidelines to brief reporters. It was the second attack on Isfahan, which was hit in the first 24 hours of the war as part of Israel’s goal to destroy the Iranian nuclear program.
Akbar Salehi, Isfahan province’s deputy governor for security affairs, confirmed the Israeli strikes had caused damage to the facility but said there had been no human casualties.
Israel’s defense minister said Saturday that the military had also killed three senior Iranian commanders in targeted attacks – including a commander of Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard who he said financed and armed Hamas in preparation for the Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel that sparked the 20-month-long war in Gaza.
“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home,” Trump previously said.
“Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter,” he added.

From The Wall Street Journal:
President Trump called the strikes in Iran “a spectacular military success” in his address Saturday night. Trump said Iran’s nuclear sites were “completely and totally obliterated.”
The president said the U.S. attacked three of Iran’s nuclear sites: Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan. The three sites the U.S. hit represent the core of the Iranian nuclear infrastructure. Fox News presenter Sean Hannity said Trump told him the U.S. used “five to six” bunker-buster bombs in its attack on Fordow.

While the U.S. strikes appeared to be limited, America’s intervention threatens to widen a conflict being fought in the middle of some of the world’s most important energy facilities. Iran has threatened to strike at American troops around the region in the event the U.S. got involved in the conflict, and the oil and gas rich Gulf states that host U.S. bases are concerned the violence could spread to their territories.
