This acceptable would mean somehow eliminating by Star Wars, the entire Russian nuclear submarine fleet. Hit hundreds of nuclear missiles and bombers in Russia and, killing the entire Russian leadership.

This is not just impossible, it is improbable. It also has the problem of several hundred “small” radioactive nukes pushing debris and other contaminants into the atmosphere. None of this is even covers the immense problem of cancers and tumors which are going to spike across the globe.
