Steve Bannon is demanding federal officials come clean about the Brown University shooting and disclose what they know about the targeting of Ella Cook, warning that silence puts parents and the public at risk.

He argued that when local authorities fail or contradict themselves, responsibility shifts to federal officials to warn the public.

Bannon Demands Federal Action Amid Brown Shooting Silence

STEVE BANNON (HOST): There’s something else about warning the public. So I think, Jack, what we’re doing is saying, hey, it’s just not the local officials, because that looks like the Keystone cops. And you’re right, we sat through this fiasco yesterday. That was just embarrassing. But I do think it’s incumbent, if it’s accurate, for federal officials to come out now and at least tell us what they know, as a warning to other parents. Maybe not helping on this case, but as a warning to all.

Bannon reinforced his on air demand in a GETTR post ahead of AmFest in Phoenix, writing:

“With AmFest about to start in Phoenix tomorrow the FBI/DOJ MUST STEP IN AND GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER FROM LOCAL AUTHORITIES: WAS ELLA COOK TARGETED”

Bannon posts on GETTR demanding the FBI and DOJ get answers from local authorities on whether Ella Cook was targeted in the Brown University shooting.
