Only the most deranged and malevolent radicals would oppose ICE agents, much less call for violence against them. When the agents apprehend worst-of-the-worst criminals who are in the country illegally, they are defending the nation, keeping the public safe, and enforcing laws created by democratically elected leaders. Yet preventing ICE from performing its crucial duties while whipping up violent sentiment against it is common among Democrat politicians — and not only in the mental institution moonbats have made of Minnesota. Kris Mayes is Attorney General of Arizona.
The New York Post reports:
Mayes wildly suggested that residents can open fire on masked ICE agents if they feel their life is in danger under the state’s self-defense laws.
Her party has resorted to outrageous rhetoric in an attempt to convince even American citizens of lethal danger posed by ICE — even while egging them on to harass agents.
The Democrat, in a sit-down with 12 News anchor Brahm Resnik, warned that Arizona’s “Stand Your Ground” law, which allows citizens to use deadly force if they believe they’re in imminent danger, could become a “recipe for disaster” if protesters clash with immigration officers.
Clash is what the liberal establishment calls upon them to do.
Succumbing to bloodlust, Mayes goes even past the media:
A flabbergasted Resnik repeatedly challenged Mayes, cautioning that her remarks could be interpreted as a “license” to residents to shoot a federal agent.
Shrugged Mayes:
“I mean if somebody comes at me wearing a mask, by the way, I’m a gun owner, and I can’t tell whether they’re a police officer, what am I supposed to do?”
Mayes has vowed to prosecute ICE agents for any infractions her office can dream up, setting the stage for conflicts between state and federal law enforcement that could be a prelude to civil war.
At least I have a decent representative in Congress. David Schweikert (R-AZ) weighs in:
“If your job is to enforce the law, you do not go on TV and hand out a permission structure for violence, then act surprised when people hear it as a green light.”
Imagine expecting justice under a system run by wicked lunatics who want LEOs shot.
