Amazon welcomes the Official Trump Brand Store

The Trump store now has a home on the world’s largest sales platform, Amazon.

Company officials on Friday told Secrets that the Trump store, famous for selling all things “Make America Great Again,” opened this week on the platform, the latest corporate legitimization of President Donald Trump that was missing in his first term.

“The Official Trump Brand Store is joining millions of other independent sellers who use our services to reach Amazon customers across the country,” a company spokesperson told Secrets.

The Trump store launched several product categories, including apparel, flags, drinkware, golf balls, and, of course, hats.

The page opens with two words: “Embrace Greatness.” Its top offerings are the trademark red, white, and black “Make America Great Again” hats, at $47 each.

The store combines the two administrations of Trump, calling it the “45-47 Collection.”

And notably, as Trump lays tariffs on foreign products coming into America, the website promises that what’s being sold is made in America.

Some will note that the store opening follows outreach by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos to Trump last year and the budding friendship and alliance between the two.

Just recently, Trump revealed, he and Bezos talked about changes to the Washington Post, which Bezos owns. Bezos made changes to the liberal newspaper’s editorial policy that have led to staff protests because they saw them as pro-Trump.
