If you have seen the movie Captain Phillips, a recent city council meeting in the Somali colony Lewiston, Maine could have given you déjà vu.
The public comment session was supposed to focus on a proposed AI data center. But Mayor Carl Sheline was treated to an unrelated wakeup call when an African migrant informed him, “I’m the mayor now.”
Meanwhile, in Maine:

Via Breitbart:
On social media, users quickly pointed out that the remark resembled that of a famous scene from Captain Phillips, released in 2013, where Somali pirates take hostage a United States cargo ship and one of the pirates declares, “I’m the captain now,” which quickly became a popular internet meme.
Somalis have been infamous for piracy for some time. With help from the liberals who import them for demographic purposes, they have graduated from taking over boats to commandeering whole cities. To see the future of Lewiston, look to Minneapolis.
