You’d think setting cars on fire would be the bare minimum threshold for calling a “mostly peaceful protest” a riot, but not when it comes to the mainstream media. According to ABC News, it’s apparently just “a bunch of people having fun watching cars burn.” You know, everyone’s favorite pastime.

If you needed any more justification as to why the media has become largely irrelevant, here it is!

This is also why there is only one particular demographic that still watches cable news—most people won’t just believe something while watching the exact opposite unfold before their eyes and accept the reporter’s explanation as gospel.

You have to be deep in liberal fantasy land to watch rioters setting cars on fire and still believe they’re just trying to help an illegal alien earn a living for his family back in Mexico. And the fact that this kind of chaos is the most effective way to “send a message” to the Trump administration might say more than they intended.

How have they not learned their lesson? This is exactly the kind of nonsense that cost the left the election. You can’t claim two plus two equals five and expect the public to accept it as truth—voters are a lot smarter than the media gives them credit for.

What is even the point of trying to justify this, and what does watching cars burn have anything to do with making sure no human is illegal? That is something the left will never be able to answer, but that won’t stop the media from trying. Nevertheless, I don’t think the reporter would be saying the same thing had it been his car, but that is neither here nor there. The point remains: some humans are illegal, and no amount of media propaganda will change that, despite their efforts to gaslight you into oblivion.
