Who could believe that in this day and age racism against blacks has been discovered — right on a college campus? Yet see what College Fix reports from Kansas State University:
Last week someone showed up at the public university campus holding a sign that read “Say [n-word] win candy.”
He was said to be a white guy wearing blackface. A liberal columnist blamed free speech for this intolerable blasphemy against the woke religion.
“When the Kansas Legislature passed the so-called KIRK Act to prevent colleges and universities from regulating political activism on campus, I warned that lawmakers were rolling out a welcome mat for unsavory characters with even more unsavory messages, causing problems where problems didn’t exist,” Dion Lefler wrote in The Wichita Eagle on Friday.
The KIRK Act, named for Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, aims to strengthen free speech rights on campus.
You can see why a lib wouldn’t like it, not even one whose job as a columnist depends on free speech.
Of course Trump was also to blame:
“We now live in MAGA World, where racism is fashionable once again — from the White House to the Statehouse,” he wrote.
To no one’s surprise except possibly Leftler’s I mean Lefler’s, the guy promising candy turns out not to be a Caucasian in blackface but a Person of Politically Preferred Pigmentation. This can be confirmed by looking at the picture accompanying Leftler’s piece.
The “blackface” rumor came from a local NAACP chapter, according to The Kansas State Collegian.
It would be racist to dispute rumors started by the NAACP, but Lefler did almost admit it was a black guy in a following column. He held fast to his attack on the KIRK Act though.
For his role in promoting phony black oppression, Dion Lefler has earned a place on the Hate Hoax List.
