Sadie Robertson Huff, best known for her appearances on the hit reality series “Duck Dynasty,” still maintains a robust following on social media.

She recently provided a “vulnerable” update to her followers, recounting a recent experience that would register as any parent’s nightmare.

As her baby daughter began to choke, though, Huff said she immediately began to feel God’s presence amid the frightening circumstances.

The Daily Caller reported on the incident:

“Within seconds, you could tell the severity of the situation. My mom pulled her from the high chair and placed my girl into my arms just as she stopped breathing.”

The “Duck Dynasty” star continued, “Everyone went into action and into prayer. Mom called 911, I started CPR, and everyone began to pray out loud and move the other kids downstairs.”

Huff told fans she was the type of person who “likes to be prepared for all situations,” noting she had watched videos that proved to be helpful in her moment of panic.

“I can only explain it now like my body just knew what to do. I felt God’s Spirit guiding me, partnering with me in what I had learned and seen. I remember saying out loud, “what do I do?” and then immediately started doing it and declaring life,” she wrote on Instagram.

“After following protocol for a baby choking and doing CPR, Kit miraculously coughed and began to breathe, just as the paramedics arrived… it was truly terrifying, but God.”

“I rode in the back of the ambulance with my girl, still afraid, but praising God.”

It wasn’t Huff’s first medical scare involving her youngest child:

Earlier this month, she shared how the death of her famous grandfather, Phil Robertson, helped bring her closer to God:

With a “Duck Dynasty” reboot underway, Huff noted last year that the thought of adding a third baby to her family did seem daunting, as Fox News reported at the time:

“I was mostly nervous to tell mom because the show has been so much,” she said.

“I just know how busy we all are right now, and how busy you are right now,” Sadie’s mother, Korie Robertson, said on the podcast. “And, you don’t usually wait.”

Sadie noted, “I don’t wait a second. When I found out I was pregnant with Haven, I FaceTimed my mom to tell her, and I was literally five minutes down the road.”

She waited five days more than she planned to tell her family, which felt like an eternity.

“Especially cause we were together every single day, and like, I was just trying to act like my whole life was not about to totally change, although it was totally changing,” Sadie said. “I just remember whenever I told you, I was super anxious. Life is so crazy right now. I have to tell you I’m pregnant, and you about fell on the floor. You were like, ‘What?’”
