The following article, Ilhan Omar and Tim Walz Career-Ending Connections to Somali Crooks, was first published on The Black Sphere.

Somali Crooks Tied to Minnesota Democrats

Democrats tell us constantly that America is a land of “moral imperatives,” where borders are imaginary, criminals are “misunderstood,” and every third-world remittance artist is really a misunderstood astrophysicist in disguise. If you challenge that narrative, they act like you unplugged their teleprompter mid-sentence. But every now and then, reality smacks us across the face, grabs us by the collar, and says, “Pay attention, dammit.”

Enter Abdul Dahir Ibrahim—a Somali con man whose entire résumé reads like the Democratic Party’s immigration platform put into human form. The man is a one-man United Nations of fraud.

Ibrahim was convicted of asylum and welfare fraud in Canada, then walked across the border and—shockingly—committed asylum and welfare fraud in America. It’s so poetic, it should be set it to music.

Ironically, Ibrahim just “waltz” into the United States…Tim Walzed.

Ibrahim was ushered in. Welcomed. Enabled by a crooked Democrat member of Congress, protected by a willful-idiot Democrat governor, and photographed more often with Minnesota’s political royalty than a checkbook-wielding lobbyist. It’s all right here, courtesy of Fox News Digital:

ICE finally grabbed Ibrahim—again—despite the best efforts of Minnesota’s leadership to treat him like a cultural ambassador instead of the serial fraudster he is. According to Fox, he’s had a standing deportation order since 2004. Twenty years.

Twenty years of ignoring court rulings, appeals, and his own mounting criminal record, as if America’s immigration system is the world’s most forgiving customer service department.

Further, every appeal was rejected. Every court said “No.”

And yet somehow, the man was still here. Still cashing checks. Still smiling in pictures with Governor Tim Walz—the former bottom-of-the-ticket Democrat who is only “historic” in the sense that he could one day be the first vice-presidential candidate arrested for aiding and abetting stupidity.

Let’s walk through Ibrahim’s “contributions” to the American dream.

In Canada, he was convicted for defrauding their welfare system. Now think about that for a moment. Canada. A country whose welfare payouts practically come with maple syrup and a hug. You have to work hard to defraud a system that already gives everything away with a smile. But Ibrahim managed it.

Over there, he lied, cheated, and stole benefits he didn’t qualify for. And when that scheme collapsed? He simply crossed the border to a new host country like a parasite looking for the next warm body.

According to the DOJ document reviewed by Fox, Ibrahim repeated the exact same scam in the United States. Welfare fraud, asylum lies, fake family claims—he treated America’s immigration law like it was a suggestion, not a requirement. This is a man with a professional specialization in government exploitation. If fraud were an Olympic event, he’d have three gold medals and a Visa sponsorship.

But his American criminal record goes beyond fraud.

In 2002, he was convicted in Dakota County for giving false information to police and driving without a valid license. That’s pretty on brand. You’d think someone with a deportation order would lay low, keep quiet, maybe learn the rules of the country he’s squatting in. Not Ibrahim. He acted like the law was a mosquito buzzing around his ears—annoying, but not enough to make him stop what he was doing.

And then there’s the part that would be hilarious if it weren’t so pathetically predictable: Ibrahim claimed at one point that his sister was his wife, and that her children were theirs. That’s not just fraud—that’s homeland-inspired creativity. It’s almost an homage to Representative Ilhan Omar, who allegedly married her brother to get him into the country. Maybe it’s a cultural thing. A family-values reinterpretation that only applies when you’re holding a fraudulent immigration application in your hand.

But here’s what makes Ibrahim’s case more than just another episode in the long-running series “Democrats Pretend Not to See Crime When It Benefits Them.” Ibrahim wasn’t hiding. He wasn’t some shadowy figure lurking in the alleys of Minneapolis, quietly siphoning off welfare money. He was out there, cheesing for the camera with Minnesota’s top Democrats. Public officials. Leaders. Lawmakers. The people who swear they’re “protecting the integrity of our institutions.”

He had pictures with multiple Somali leaders. But more importantly, he had pictures with Governor Walz. Repeatedly.

Not a quick handshake at a state fair. Not a random encounter. Multiple photographs, suggesting familiarity, access, and the kind of proximity you don’t get unless you’re donating money, delivering votes, or serving as a community power broker.

And that’s the real question here: How much money did Ibrahim siphon from American taxpayers, only to recycle it into Minnesota Democratic politics? How much fraud-funded campaign cash helped grease the wheels for his access? Because the pictures don’t lie—but Democrats do.

Walz, in his finest condescending “let me teach America about diversity” voice, has declared that the Somali community contributes greatly to the fabric of America. Really? In what way, exactly? Can he point to something specific? Something measurable? Something that doesn’t involve food stamps, wire transfers to Mogadishu, or fraudulent daycare centers bilking the state for tens of millions of dollars?

Minnesota has been dealing with massive Somali-led fraud scandals for years.

Childcare fraud. COVID relief fraud. SNAP fraud. Nonprofit fraud. The sheer volume of corruption raises the question: At what point does it stop being a coincidence and become a business model?

And yet Walz continues the charade. He stands at podiums, flanked by Somali “community leaders,” assuring the rest of us that everything is fine. That these are hardworking immigrants. That you’re a xenophobe if you so much as raise an eyebrow at their crime rates.

But the data—and the mugshots—tell a different story.

Democrats treat the Somali population of Minnesota the same way they treated the border crisis under Obama and Biden: Never acknowledge the scammers, the criminals, or the terrorists-in-waiting. Never admit the system is being abused. Just keep the pipeline open so long as the votes, money, and political influence keep flowing in the right direction.

Walz and his crew aren’t embarrassed by criminals like Ibrahim. They’re inconvenienced by getting caught.

The truth is this: Ibrahim is not an aberration. He is a representative sample. A sample of a program that was hijacked, abused, and turned into a refugee-to-voter pipeline guarded fiercely by Democrats who rely on identity politics to maintain their grip on power.

And here’s the part that should infuriate every American taxpayer: Ibrahim has been under a deportation order since 2004. Meaning he could have been gone before the iPhone existed, before Twitter existed, before Obama was even a blip on the national radar. Instead, he was allowed to remain because Democrats like Walz and Omar work tirelessly to undermine ICE, sabotage deportations, and turn sanctuary jurisdictions into criminal playgrounds.

But now, finally, the tide is turning.

President Trump’s return has forced agencies to stop pretending fraud is a cultural misunderstanding. ICE is back to enforcing the law. The Biden-era “look the other way and hope nobody notices” doctrine is dead. And the Democrats of Minnesota are scrambling because they know the house of cards they built—financially, politically, and demographically—is collapsing.

Walz is sweating. Omar is spiraling. Their Somali fraud pipeline is being exposed. And the media can’t bury it, because Ibrahim is now a full-blown federal case. ICE arrested him. Cameras caught him. His pictures with Minnesota royalty are public. The grift has been documented. And the people who enabled him are the same ones who lecture us about “protecting democracy.”

Well, maybe democracy would be a little safer if Democrats stopped importing criminals who specialize in defrauding Western welfare systems.

Somalis have a country. They have a history. They have a culture.

And I’d love—absolutely love—for someone like Walz to explain, in quantifiable terms, what positive contribution they have made to America at scale. Because from where most taxpayers sit, outside of piracy and fraud, the evidence is lacking.

Minnesota didn’t get a thriving multicultural utopia. It got a criminal class wrapped in a victim narrative, protected by political opportunists who care more about ethnic voting blocs than they do about the rule of law.

And thanks to Trump, the cleanup has begun.

One deportation at a time. One fraud case at a time. One dismantled Democratic scam at a time.

The only question that remains is whether Minnesota finally wakes up—or whether it keeps importing more Ibrahims until the entire state budget looks like a Somali phone scam.

Either way, the days of pretending are over.

And Democrats hate that the most.
