Slavery existed throughout the world since before recorded history until it was largely ended by the British navy. In the United States, it was ended at the cost of 620,000 American lives in the Civil War. Yet in the twisted realm of liberal ideology, slavery is a uniquely American institution that continues to define the country and its traditionally Caucasian inhabitants. Their hatred of America and Americans on the grounds that centuries ago there was slavery here has festered into an entire denomination of the moonbat religion.
