Remember back in the early days of Biden’s open border scheme, when whistleblowers reported on kids in custody getting abused while they awaited placement? Their ‘solution’ was SO much worse.

Where’s Time with their apology for not only making this fabricated story in his first term, but being entirely wrong about which side cares for kids and which side lets them get exploited? They barely apologized for taking a crying kid who had NOT been separated from her mother and photoshopping a bogus story that suited their narrative.

That ‘deep concern for kids’ disappeared faster than an election promise when Biden started bringing more unaccompanied kids across the border than his people knew what to do with.

When Congressional hearings were opened up about Biden’s broken border, and people like Mayorkas were confronted with stacks and stacks of tiny wristbands worn by children who had been ferried across the border by cartels, where women, young girls, and even some boys were routinely raped, they stonewalled and pled ignorance.

When even leftwing news articles were running stories about children lost in the system who had gone missing and were working night shifts in meat packing plants or worse when their biggest worry should have been about trying to fit in with their classmates in junior high? There was no sudden rush to help these children. Even the much-maligned Alex Jones went to the border and caught carloads of kids being shuttled into unmarked vehicles bound for who-knows-where.

And the same Democrats that claimed their oversight role gave them the right to push their way into ICE detention centers unannounced were complicit in blocking GOP oversight from visiting the detention centers Biden built on the border in response to claims about ‘children in cages’ being victimized while in Biden/Kamala/Mayorkas custody. Staffers blocked line-of-sight when Senators and Congressmen paid them a visit.

When the centers filled with children and abuse claims became a public spectacle and a story gaining traction nationally, and with no interest in slowing traffic in across the border, Biden/Kamala swept the problem under the rug by fast-tracking placement of minors wherever they could be housed.

One of the big red flags Biden’s admin had been warned about was the lack of oversight in vetting those entrusted with the care of immigrant children and follow-up to make sure they were being well cared for instead of ending up like one of the more than 80k children featured in the missing and exploited children news piece.

Before all was said and done, several months before Biden was chased out of the Oval Office, House Oversight came up with a number of nearly 300,000 missing kids that had been shuttled over the border, a direct consequence of Biden’s open border policy.

As the now-zero illegal border crossing numbers will attest, this problem did not require a change in law, it required a change in President and enforcement action.

The latest HHS Data, as detailed by Senator Grassley, confirms our worst suspicions — namely that politics LITERALLY took priority over the safety of children in the Biden years. Note the use of the word ‘stonewalling’ in the following citation (with several key thoughts highlighted for readers’ benefit):

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) is making public Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) data showing the Biden-Harris administration placed over 11,000 migrant children with unvetted sponsors who were not the child’s parent or legal guardian, and did not conduct home studies for over 79,000 migrant children under the age of 12.

The Trump administration provided Grassley the data in response to his oversight requests, which were stonewalled by the previous administration. HHS additionally outlined the Trump administration’s efforts to implement badly needed reforms in the Unaccompanied Children (UC) program.

“My oversight continues to expose disturbing evidence that the Biden-Harris administration turned a blind eye to tens of thousands of kids who needed proper supervision and care. It’s appalling to prioritize speed and optics over the safety and wellbeing of children,” Grassley said. “I appreciate the Trump administration’s efforts to undo the damage caused by the last administration’s failed border policies, and I’ll continue my oversight of the issue to ensure abuse like this never happens again.” —Sen Grassley

If that isn’t damning enough, let’s skip down to the final paragraph of that same announcement. Pay particular attention to 1) how many children they lost track of, 2) deliberately kept law enforcement out of the loop 3) how many reports Biden-Harris disregarded, and WHAT the content of those reports included (especially that final subset referenced at the end).

This Congress, the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Inspector General published a report which validated Grassley’s investigative findings and confirmed the Biden-Harris administration lost track of hundreds-of-thousands of migrant children, placed children with dangerous sponsors and restricted information sharing with law enforcement. Grassley also exposed the Biden-Harris administration for ignoring or dismissing over 65,000 reports regarding migrant children, including over 7,300 reports of human trafficking.

The dem political machine got caught red-handed gnoring 7,300 reports of human trafficking. And they claim WE are the moral monsters.

Skip ahead to today, where we are all of 200 days into Trump’s second term. How much could we possibly do to unscramble that mess in so short a time?
