We were told by the chattering class in the media that JD Vance was WAY out of line when he called out European countries for abandoning the rights on which Democratic countries depend. They were wrong.

Not only was JD Vance NOT ‘out of line’, he was a voice of reason to a continent that had lost its collective mind. And now? They are taking slow first steps in the long walk back toward sanity.

It began with the government dropping criminal charges against a grandmother.

What was her crime? Working within the framework of draconian laws where the presence of an abortion provider negates the rights of a free citizen, a 75-year-old grandmother held up a sign inviting people to talk ‘only if you want’. The sign itself stated that coercion is a crime, and she did not impede people in any way as they walked past her to do what she quite naturally would have desperately hoped they would reconsider doing.

Notice how she is standing right up against the fence, in about as non-aggressive a posture as can be taken.

She was charged by Scottish authorities. Those charges have since been dropped.

“This is a victory not just for me, but for everyone in Scotland who believes we should be free to hold a peaceful conversation.

“I stood with love and compassion, ready to listen to anyone who wanted to talk. Criminalising kindness has no place in a free society.”

Concerns about the buffer zones legislation escalated earlier this year when the law’s architect, Green Party MSP Gillian Mackay, admitted in a BBC interview that even visible prayer in a private home could be considered an offence if seen from within a buffer zone.

Lois McLatchie Miller, Scottish spokesperson for ADF International, which supported Rose Docherty’s defence, said:

“Every Scot has the right to speak freely and to offer compassionate conversation without fear of prosecution.

“It’s vital for allies to stand together in defence of this fundamental freedom, and we welcome the outpouring of support Rose has received both at home and abroad, including from the United States, which is a key voice for the protection of free speech worldwide.” — ADFInternational

As ClashDaily has recently reported, when the White House and Oval Office meet with their foreign counterparts, the cause of liberty is very definitely among the priorities they discuss.

Of course, none of that will stop the Dems from saying he’s some kind of a demented authoritarian tyrant… while giving reams of actual evidence demonstrating political tyranny on their side a complete pass.

That Bill of Rights exists for them only until it becomes inconvenient… as the FBI director has said about the complete violation of Trump’s 4th Amendment rights with ZERO genuine legal predicate. But because those violations targeted the right guy… the Dems and their media enablers CHEERED it on.
