This one (almost) makes you feel bad for Barack Obama…

On a recent episode of her podcast, Michelle Obama admitted that she is glad she didn’t have a son…because he would have turned out like her husband.

The Hill reported:

Michelle Obama says she’s “so glad” she never had a son — because he would’ve been a kiddie clone of her husband.

“You should’ve threw a boy in the mix,” radio host Angie Martinez told Obama in an episode of the former first lady’s “IMO” podcast released Wednesday.

The remark came as Obama and her brother, Craig Robinson, along with Martinez, discussed society’s view of masculinity and the challenges of raising boys and young men.

“I’m so glad I didn’t have a boy,” Obama exclaimed.

“Why didn’t you throw in a third?” Martinez said with a chuckle to the mother of two.

“Because he would’ve been a Barack Obama,” the “Becoming” author and former president’s wife quipped to laughs.

“Baby Barack — it would’ve been amazing!” Martinez replied.

“Ooh, no, I would’ve felt for him,” Obama added of the potential mini version of the ex-commander in chief.

That’s just cold.

Can you imagine having a spouse that you don’t want your children to turn out like?

It’s really sad, actually.

Michelle’s latest dig at Barack comes amid a lot of rumors swirling about a potential divorce.

The New York Post noted:

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Obama’s musings pointed to a potential preoccupation with her 32-year marriage to the former president — which many have speculated is on the rocks.

“Teach [your son] about how to deal with the traffic stop, but also teach him how to communicate in a marriage and to be a listening father,” Obama said before scoffing at the idea of having a baby Barack.

Despite the possibly unintended jab, Michelle praised her hubby for his parenting prowess just last week in an interview with rock legend — and noted Democrat — Bruce Springsteen.
