Dr. Kevin O’Connor isn’t just Joe Biden’s doctor. At this point, he might be the most important figure in the entire White House health mystery. Now under congressional scrutiny, O’Connor is being asked to answer a pressing question: Did he conceal the president’s condition from the American people—or did someone else decide it was best not to know?
House Oversight Chair James Comer wants answers, and he’s starting with O’Connor. The American public spent the last few years watching Biden struggle—confused moments, slurred words, stumbles, and a vacant look that raised more questions than his handlers could smother with scripted distractions and a compliant press corps.
On Thursday, Rep. James Comer (R-KY), the Chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, sent a letter to former White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor, alerting him that he is being investigated for his medical assessments of former President Joe Biden, who has been diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer that has spread to his bones.
“The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform is investigating the accuracy, transparency, and credibility of your medical assessments of former President Joe Biden given his recent acknowledgment of an advanced physical condition and a publicly apparent cognitive decline,” Comer wrote, noting that the Committee had first written to O’Connor on July 7, 2024, 10 days after the Trump-Biden debate in which Biden had shown clear signs of a mental decline. – The Daily Wire
Doctor-Patient Confidentiality—But for the Presidency?
In normal life, medical privacy is sacred. But when your patient is the most powerful man in the world, the stakes change.
There is a case for keeping some things private—especially in wartime or moments of national vulnerability. But those arguments don’t hold up when the symptoms are clearly visible to 300 million people, and the only ones still pretending all is well are a handful of loyal aides, a doctor with family ties, and a press corps too timid to press.
Concealment of a president’s health status has some moral defense from a national security perspective, particularly during a war. But this position only works when there are no outward signs of a health problem. If a health condition is on full public display, with objective and overt clinical symptoms, it would be ethically imperative to be transparent about the President’s condition. – The Hastings Center, July 11, 2024
Maybe the Doctor Spoke—And the Inner Circle Silenced It
Here’s a real possibility: maybe Dr. O’Connor did report concerns about Biden’s health. But not to the public—to Jill Biden, Anthony Bernal, Annie Tomasini, and the rest of the president’s inner circle. Maybe the doctor raised red flags, and the loyalists around Biden were the ones who hit the mute button.
If that’s true, O’Connor becomes less the mastermind and more the firewall—the man whose words were filtered, spun, or outright buried by political handlers who decided the country didn’t need the truth.
If O’Connor told Jill Biden her husband wasn’t up to the job, and she chose image over honesty, that’s not just political strategy—it’s betrayal of public trust.
Still, O’Connor can’t hide behind a “just doing my job” defense. If he knew the president’s health was deteriorating and chose to play along with the illusion—or worse, helped craft the illusion—then he crossed the line from physician to fixer.
And this is an interesting summary from Ronny Jackson.
Dr. Kevin O’Connor worked for me when I was the Director of the White House Medical Unit.
He was Vice President Biden’s doctor then and was borderline competent at the time.
The only reason I didn’t get rid of him was because he was untouchable and protected by the Biden… pic.twitter.com/HOEHMQed6b

What O’Connor Knows Could Change Everything
Did he warn Biden’s team? Did he push for a full neurological workup and get overruled? Or did he help sell the lie that everything was fine?
Because when the president’s health fails, and a small circle of unelected aides makes the call to keep the nation in the dark, the consequences don’t just affect one man. They affect all of us.
Remember Dr. Cannard, a Parkinson’s expert, who visited the White House several times? And Dr. O’Connor insisted he wasn’t here to see Joe but for other staff members?
Instead, Dr. O’Connor implied that most of Dr. Cannard’s visits were related to treating other people who work at the White House. “Prior to the pandemic, and following its end, he has held regular neurology clinics at the White House Medical Clinic in support of the thousands of active-duty members assigned in support of White House operations,” Dr. O’Connor wrote. – New York Times
At the very least, Dr. Cannard’s visits deserve a closer look. Because the more this White House insists everything is fine, the more it feels like we’re being managed, not informed.
And if Dr. Kevin O’Connor became the buffer between medical fact and political fiction, then he wasn’t serving the public. He was protecting the brand.
Last year, Comer tried to pull back the curtain on who was really running the country, and the Biden White House slammed the door shut. Comer subpoenaed three of Biden’s top handlers — Annie Tomasini, Anthony Bernal, and Ashley Williams — all of whom played key roles in shielding the increasingly incapacitated president from scrutiny.
He also requested a transcribed interview with Biden’s physician, O’Connor. The response? Total obstruction. The Biden White House flat-out refused to make the aides available. – PJ Media
The American people deserve to know when Biden’s decline began, how far it progressed, and—most importantly—who was really making the decisions while the president was clearly no longer capable. Executive actions signed by autopen—including pardons that directly benefit his own family—aren’t just suspicious, they’re dangerous if issued by someone no longer in full control of his faculties.
In this 38-minute interview from early 2023, Dr. Kevin O’Connor discusses his background and role as President Biden’s physician. The conversation is more of a personal overview than a probing inquiry, offering limited insight into the president’s health or any pressing medical concerns.
This isn’t just about Dr. O’Connor anymore. It’s about the entire operation that helped prop up a failing president and called it leadership.
