Midway through his joint address to Congress, President Trump took the time to honor a special guest.
In the most heart-touching moment of Trump’s speech, the 47th President ordered Secret Service Director Sean Curran to make 13-year-old DJ Daniel an agent of the Secret Service.
DJ Daniel, who has “always dreamed of becoming a police officer,” was filled with joy as he was handed his Secret Service credentials.
DJ was previously given months to live after first being diagnosed with brain cancer, but he has since beat the odds and has continued to fight years after his diagnosis.
Watch the moment it happened here:

Democrats refused to even stand for DJ Daniel:
Congrats, DJ!
DJ (Daniel) is a 13-year-old lad with brain cancer who has always dreamed of being a police officer.
President Trump just made his life by making him a Secret Service Agent.
The bastards couldn’t even stand and clap for that.#SOTU #StateOfTheUnion pic.twitter.com/GP59icORjQ
