The ground is shifting in real time.
Israel is partnering with other persecuted minorities in the region to defeat the jihad armies.
Israeli PM Netanyahu laid out his vision for southern Syria:
1) IDF will remain indefinitely across on the Hermon Mt.
2) Syrian forces won’t be allowed south of Damascus.
3) IDF will ensure safety for the Druze in Syria.
Establishing a de facto autonomous Druze zone.
The Israel Defense Forces (#IDF) will remain indefinitely on the other side of Mount #Hermon.
Syrian forces will not be allowed south of #Damascus.
The IDF will ensure the safety of the Druze in #Syria.
This effectively establishes a #Druze autonomous region.

A coalition of Druze have announced the formation of the Sweida Military Council.
The militia seeks to unite Druze forces and acquire the ability to ensure the safety of the populace in southern Syria.
The only obvious threat they could counter are Jolani’s forces in Damascus. pic.twitter.com/RqlctprJ2H

The Council’s statement can be found on this Kurdish Media post.
Essentially, they have thrown their lot in with the Kurdish SDF: they are willing to remain part of Syria, but they want local autonomy, and are willing to use military force to keep it.https://t.co/bqLm2LSp4o

Netanyahu’s strategy seeks to counter Erdogan’s attempt to co-opt Syria.
The Druze and the Kurds seem to be gravitating towards Israel’s orbit because they know the moment Trump pulls out of Syria, the Sunni-Turkish forces will overrun them.https://t.co/wDIvfeqXnJ

In parallel with Prime Minister Netanyahu’s statement yesterday about the Israeli demand to disarm southern Syria from the forces of the new regime and that Israel will not tolerate a threat to the Druze there, 3 videos of Druze military groups from various villages in the Suwayda district were published in the past 24 hours, in which they openly announce joining the “Suwayda Military Council” – a body that was established after the overthrow of the Assad regime and “refreshed” with a new logo in the past 24 hours.
There was a show of military force by the Druze in as-Suwayda in southern Syria, led by the commander of the “As-Suwayda Military Council”, Tariq al-Shufi.
As previously mentioned, al-Shufi acknowledged Netanyahu’s statements of support for the Druze community yesterday.
The basic outline of the council, headed by Tariq al-Shufi, shows an implicit connection to the Kurds in Syria.
The timing of Netanyahu’s statements, alongside the new activity in the last 24 hours and the connection to the Kurds, leave no doubt that there is a planned move here between 3 parties with common interests:
Israel, the Kurds and the Druze. Here’s a little about the ideological connection between Israel, the Druze, and the Kurds.
There is a similarity between the new logo of the Suwayda Military Council and the logo of the Syrian Democratic Forces (Kurds, who receive the US protective umbrella) – the similarity is not coincidental.
And there are also maps that show a possible geographical continuity between the Druze in southern Syria and the Kurds in eastern and northern Syria – with a launching point for Israel in the Golan Heights.
