Trump Predicts His Administration Will Be ‘Fully Operational’ Within Two Hours

President-elect Donald Trump said his second administration will be “fully operational” in roughly two hours.

The prediction was made on Sunday during Trump’s remarks at Turning Point USA’s America Fest in Phoenix, Arizona, while he was talking about border security.

“We are going to be fully operational, I would say, by about two o’clock on the 20th,” Trump said.

Trump is expected to take the oath of office during his inauguration ceremony at the U.S. Capitol at around noon ET on January 20, 2025.

“For those of us standing before you today, I can proudly proclaim that the golden age of America is upon us,” Trump declared, eliciting cheers from the audience.

Trump’s pick for border czar, Tom Homan, said on CNN last week that the incoming president’s deportation plan will get started on “day one.”

He added, “Right out of the gate, the president has made it clear, and I’ve made it clear, the priority right out of the gate’s public safety threats and national security threats.”

Trump later talked about how he campaigned on “an agenda of delivering profound change to Washington.”

After mentioning his sweeping defeat of Vice President Kamala Harris, Trump noted how the incoming GOP Senate majority “is working very hard” to confirm nominees for his “dream team Cabinet.”

Trump said his team will “embark on the most exciting and successful period of reform and renewal in all of American history.” He then brought up the “series of big day one promises” made on the campaign trail.

“And 29 days from now, I plan to keep those promises to the American people,” he said. “And just as we did four years ago, my administration’s will live by the motto: ‘promises made, promises kept.’”

The America Fest event has been taking place over the past few days, featuring dozens of speakers.

Among the others who delivered remarks was Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro, who said Trump is ushering in the “golden age,” propelled by the support of the American people.

“This is all happening because President Trump is a force, is a historic force, is the historic force of our age,” Shapiro said.
