The following article, The Democrats’ Playbook: What the Next Four Years Might Hold, was first published on The Black Sphere.
The 2024 election was historic, and not just for its result. The sheer audacity of the Democrats’ attempts to subvert the will of the people is one for the record books.
We all know that Democrat cheated; again. But even with cheating, Kamala Harris and the down-ticket Democrats lost in one of the most embarrassing defeats in political history. And truthfully, nobody expects Democrats to learn from their horrendous losses. Because learning this lesson would require Democrats to behave like adults.
Now that Trump has taken back the White House, we can expect some very childish behavior from Democrats. So, we must not underestimate what lengths Democrats will go to next, though history offers some ideas, as does their playbook of hypocrisy and desperation.
Russian Collusion: Fiction Masquerading as Fact
The Russian collusion narrative was one of the most significant political hoaxes in U.S. history. Spearheaded by Hillary Clinton’s campaign and amplified by a media eager to discredit Trump, this farce wasted millions of taxpayer dollars and years of national attention. Ironically, the Steele dossier—a key piece of “evidence”—was funded by Democrats and debunked repeatedly. The FBI’s complicity in perpetuating this lie tarnished its credibility, exposing deep biases in an institution sworn to impartiality.
What might they try now? Democrats have already suggested that one of Trump’s nominees has “ties to Russia”. Talk about dusting off an old fake news narrative, as Democrats promote another baseless allegation designed to distract and discredit. Perhaps the next “collusion” will involve Trump conspiring with Martians to win the election.

FISA Court Corruption: Justice on Trial
The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) courts were designed to protect Americans while surveilling foreign threats. However, the courts became tools of political espionage by the Democrats. Applications riddled with inaccuracies were used to justify spying on Trump’s campaign. Even scumbag former FBI Director James Comey admitted the process was mishandled.
Future risks: While Democrats will not be able to manipulate the FISA courts over the next four years, we know they will manipulate lower courts. They did a pretty good job not allowing any of the 2020 election cases see the light of day. Clearly, Democrats excel at exploiting judicial tools, and who knows how they plan to use lawfare again. Expect creative legal acrobatics as they push the boundaries of lawfare.
Impeachment: Twice the Circus, Zero Convictions
Trump endured not one but two impeachments, both lacking evidence to justify removal. First, over a phone call with Ukraine’s president—ironically, for allegations that mirror accusations against Joe Biden—and second, for allegedly inciting the January 6 Capitol breach, a charge that ignored his explicit call for peaceful protest.
What’s next? Because the Republicans maintain the House, Democrats won’t be able to use impeachment as a weapon. But that won’t stop them from trying Trump in the court of public opinion where there are no Geneva Conventions. It’s the kind of absurdity we should expect.
Lawfare and 91 Indictments: Legal Bludgeons
Trump faced 91 indictments across four jurisdictions, an unprecedented level of legal targeting for a former president. The charges ranged from campaign finance violations to obstruction of justice, with critics pointing out the political motivations behind many of these cases.
Predictions: Sadly for Democrats, these cases are going the wrong way. Trump’s victory all but guaranteed him that the cases will be dropped. But while Democrats can’t use lawfare personally against Trump, they will certainly use every procedural effort in the books to thwart him. The aim? To paralyze his administration with constant distractions.
Assassination Attempts: Crossing Dangerous Lines
Twice during Trump’s tenure, plots to assassinate him surfaced, highlighting the extreme lengths to which some were willing to go. These incidents underscored the vitriol and division sowed by relentless anti-Trump rhetoric.
What’s next? The biggest fear for Trump supporters is the threat of violence against Trump and his supporters. Clear, Democrats have no fear crossing the line where direct violence is concerned. Everybody in Trump’s orbit are in danger, particularly as Trump shows success.
That’s the Past: What bodes for the Future?
- Economic Sabotage Democrats used covid to kill a thriving Trump economy and pretend that Biden grew the already devastated one. On that note, Democrats may leverage their corporate allies to destabilize the economy, hoping to blame Trump for any downtrends. From orchestrating strikes to manipulating markets, Democrats can be expected to leave no stone unturned.
- Election Manipulation Democrats won only states with no strict voter ID laws. With 2028 in their sights, expect Democrats to push for voting reforms like universal mail-in ballots and ballot harvesting while blocking measures to secure election integrity.
- Censorship and Media Propaganda Big Tech and legacy media will likely ramp up efforts to control narratives. Trump’s achievements will be downplayed, while any perceived misstep will be magnified to absurd proportions. The difference this time around is Democrats won’t have Twitter to help with public disinformation.
- International Collusion Democrats could weaponize foreign relations against Trump, perhaps by encouraging allies to undermine his policies or publicly oppose his administration. Recall the outcry by Democrats when Trump dared to ask them to pay their bills. Democrats declared that President Trump was being unfair to our supposed friends, by requiring what they contractually agree. And one can only imagine what happens when President Trump shuts down the war machine in Ukraine.
- Social Unrest Protests and riots could re-emerge under the guise of grassroots movements. However, as with past unrest, these may be carefully orchestrated by leftist organizations to delegitimize Trump’s leadership. Recently in Ohio, a small group of neo-Nazis marched in the streets. However, the scene was mocked on X, where many commenters said, “Hello FBI!”, mocking the once venerable organization as a tool of the Left.
- Weaponizing the Deep State Career bureaucrats in federal agencies could sabotage Trump’s directives, leak sensitive information, or create administrative chaos. Imagine trying to implement policies while half the government works against you. Let’s see if Trump’s declaration on firings, as well as D.O.G.E. help the bureaucrats to actually start working solving problems.
Ironies and Hypocrisies
The Democrats’ cry to “protect democracy” rings hollow when examined against their own actions. From suppressing primary challengers like Marianne Williamson and Robert Kennedy Jr. to rigging processes in their favor, their commitment to democracy seems situational at best.
They decried “election interference” yet worked tirelessly to undermine Trump’s 2016 and 2024 campaigns. They claim to champion transparency, yet shield their own corruption scandals from scrutiny.
Conservatives must be vigilant over the next 4 years, and consider these years an investment in Conservatism. The next four years will be a battle not just for Trump’s policies but for the soul of American democracy. Democrats have played their hand; now it’s time for conservatives to stand firm, expose hypocrisy, and ensure this victory is more than symbolic.
