After the 2024 election saw seven of ten states lose on state abortion ballot amendments, the wicked immediately hopped on their abortion-advancing bus once again. This time the Bluegrass State of Kentucky is the intended next stop of the abortion busnesses, as the industry of death attempts to legalize unborn child slaughter across America, state-by-state.
In Kentucky, on November 12, less than a week after abortion obsessed Kamala Harris and Tim Walz lost the presidential election, a lawsuit was filed in Jefferson County, Kentucky Court.
An anonymous pregnant mother, being called “Mary Poe” for the sake of privacy, is represented by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), ACLU of Kentucky, and Kaplan, Johnson, Abate & Bird, LLP. “Mary Po,” with the help of the abortion-advancing lawyers, is pushing for the court to certify a class comprising all pregnant Kentuckians who are unable to take the lives of their children through abortion in the state because of the existing life-saving laws.

The lawsuit is a follow-up to a prior legal challenge by the big abortion complex in 2022, which was initially successful in blocking the bans that prevent over 4,000 dismemberment and poisoning deaths of unborn children in Kentucky each year. However, the decision was appealed, and the life-saving laws were reinstated. After escalating to the Kentucky Supreme Court, there was a ruling by the court in February 2023 that abortionists could not represent the constitutional rights of women seeking to end the lives of their unborn children. That ruling is what led to this new legal challenge brought by an individual, an expecting mother, who declares she is impacted by Kentucky’s life-saving abortion laws.
Our friends at Kentucky Right to Life shared: Monday morning, the first hearing in the ACLU’s latest legal challenge to Kentucky’s ProLife laws was held in Jefferson County Circuit Court, with Judge Tracey Davis presiding. The case, filed under the pseudonym “Mary Poe,” seeks to overturn Kentucky’s abortion restrictions, with the ACLU attempting to certify a class action to challenge these life-affirming laws.
Assistant Attorney General Lindsey Keisner, representing Attorney General Russell Coleman’s office, delivered a thorough and compelling argument against the ACLU’s motion. Kentucky Right to Life, along with ProLife advocates from across the state, stood in prayer outside the courthouse for Mary Poe, her baby, and the ultimate victory of life.
Judge Davis did not issue a ruling, but scheduled an evidentiary hearing for January 3, 2025. Meanwhile, Baby Poe, now eight weeks along, will continue to be protected under Kentucky law. However, Mary Poe has expressed her intention to seek an abortion outside of the state should the court rule in an expeditious manner and provide her the right to terminate the life of her child.
“We applaud Assistant AG Lindsey Keiser and the legal team for their skillful defense of Kentucky’s ProLife laws,” said Addia K. Wuchner, Executive Director of Kentucky Right to Life. “We are profoundly grateful for the prayers and support from Kentuckians and beyond. We turned to Heaven to hear our cries, and we pray that Mary Poe’s heart will turn toward choosing life for her child, Baby Poe”
Cincinnati Right to Life’s Executive Director, Laura Strietmann was present for the hearing and to pray for this mother and for Kentucky. Laura shared, “Kentucky is to be admired for their continued efforts to keep the state free of violent surgical abortion. We pray for this dear mom of two living children, that she will choose life for this new baby and receive the support she deserves. May Thanksgiving and Christmas lead her to know she is loved and that she and her baby are worthy of abundant life.”
Cincinnati Right to Life continues to deploy trained sidewalk advocates outside Planned Parenthood in Cincinnati. Of the hundreds of cars counted each week, the largest percentage of travelers to the unborn baby killing facility are from Kentucky.
In a bizarre twist of laws and fate, the “north” has now become less free for the unborn than the “south.” While Kentuckians are a large percentage of out-of-state moms bringing their babies to be slaughtered in Ohio, cars from Tennessee, Georgia, Indiana, and Florida are also common in Clifton. Mothers crossing state lines to execute their sons and daughters, as moms are sold the lie of abortion, is now the standard practice in America.
Cincinnati Right to Life cannot thank the volunteers and supporters enough for the continued prayers and financial investment in the efforts to save one life at a time in Clifton. While Ohio continues to feel the aftermath of the 2023 ballot amendment loss, enshrining abortion in the state Constitution, being present to turn moms away and offer sincere care is an enormous focus of Cincinnati Right to Life right now.
