When it comes to the topic of transgenders in the US military, there’s only one group of people whose opinion matters.
The military is not the place for social experiments, so it ultimately matters little how the general public feels about the issue, let alone the whiney, loudmouth fringes of the liberal movement.
The officers who have to lead our men and women in uniform into battle must have a far weightier say in this matter than anyone else.
And a group of no less than 17 “flag-rank” officers have written a letter to President Trump telling him exactly what they think of his US military “trans ban.”
The letter reads:
“We write today to express our gratitude to you for making the extremely courageous decision to reverse President Obama’s transgender social experiment.
There may be an enormous amount of vitriol directed at you for making this policy correction, but please know that overturning this policy may have done more in the long-term to save the culture and war-fighting capacity of the U.S. military than perhaps any other military policy you will adopt as president.
In closing Mr. President, we note that your bold decision is supported by the American people who have a great reverence for the military.”
You know who DIDN’T have a great reverence for the military? Barack Obama.
Obama used the US military as a play thing, a testing ground for advancing his liberal agenda, and in the process crippled our ability to defend this nation.
As these generals wrote, if Trump does nothing else while president, he’s already put the military back on track to being the fighting force America needs to keep us all safe.
