Vice President JD Vance has just broken his silence on the feud that escalated between President Trump and Elon Musk throughout the day on Thursday.
It started with Elon Musk criticizing President Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill…and, it ended very ugly, with Musk saying President Trump is on the Epstein List and threatening to decommission SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft (which he later walked back on.)
The feud made waves in America today, with many Republicans siding with President Trump while others sided with Elon Musk.
For his part, VP Vance made his stance very concise and clear: he is “proud” to stick with President Trump.

Previously, JD Vance poked a little fun at the spat between President Trump and Elon Musk, with this post on X:President Trump has done more than any person in my lifetime to earn the trust of the movement he leads. I'm proud to stand beside him.

Steve Bannon is another that firmly stands with President Trump, while many Republican Congressmen sided with Elon Musk.Slow news day, what are we even going to talk about? @TheoVon pic.twitter.com/LVmtK219Dt

EVEN REPUBLICANS ARE SIDING WITH ELON![]()
Some of the loudest Republicans in Congress are suddenly nodding along with @elonmusk.
Rand Paul says the $4 trillion debt ceiling hike in the bill is a joke.
He posted, “I agree with Elon… $5 trillion in debt is a huge mistake.”… https://t.co/yPLyQg2t8u pic.twitter.com/lsDJg3aywx

Notably, VP Vance did not directly address Elon Musk’s call for President Trump to be replaced with Vance.EVEN REPUBLICANS ARE SIDING WITH ELON
Some of the loudest Republicans in Congress are suddenly nodding along with @elonmusk.
Rand Paul says the $4 trillion debt ceiling hike in the bill is a joke.
He posted, “I agree with Elon… $5 trillion in debt is a huge mistake.”
Sen. Mike Lee wants the Senate to “make this bill better” and echoed Elon’s complaints about runaway spending.
Rep. Thomas Massie flat-out voted against the bill in May. He reposted Elon’s rant with a quick “He’s right.”
Trump didn’t love that, and now wants him primaried.
Sen. Ron Johnson’s threatening to block the whole thing unless spending gets rolled back to pre-COVID levels.
Elon called it “pork-filled,” and Johnson seems to agree.
And Rick Scott? He says no deal unless Congress cuts the fluff and tackles the debt crisis head-on.
They’re not exactly Elon’s inner circle, but even they think this bill looks like a flaming credit card swipe.
If you missed that, here’s Musk’s post agreeing that President Trump should be impeached:
That’s going to be tough to recover from, Elon.
Meanwhile, it appears that the Trump-Musk fight is already cooling off…
