President Donald Trump has come under intense fire over the last few days, from critics who claim he is racist for criticizing Rep. Elijah Cummings' management of his own home district of Baltimore, Maryland.
This morning he is going after another African-American, Al Sharpton.
The president, on Twitter, called Sharpton a “con man.”
Trump added that Sharpton “hates white and cops.”

On Twitter, Trump wrote, “I have known Al for 25 years. Went to fights with him & Don King, always got along well. He ‘loved Trump'! He would ask me for favors often. Al is a con man, a troublemaker, always looking for a score. Just doing his thing.”
“Must have intimidated Comcast/NBC. Hates whites & cops!”
Along with a photo of himself at the airport, Sharpton wrote, “Arrived in D.C. from Atlanta, headed to Baltimore. Long day but can't stop.”

Following Trump's attack, Sharpton responded by posting an old photo of Trump speaking with him along with Rev. Jesse Jackson and James Brown.
Sharpton wrote, “Trump at NAN Convention 2006 telling James Brown and Jesse Jackson why he respects my work. Different tune now.”
On Saturday, Trump targeted Cummings' handling of the city of Baltimore, which continues to struggle with crime and homelessness.
Cummings is chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform; he has used his time and position to launch and oversee numerous investigations into Trump's administration.
Sharpton appeared in Baltimore on Monday with Michael Steele, former chair of the Republican National Committee. The two scheduled a presser to “address Trump's remarks & bipartisan outrage in the black community” and host a discussion about home ownership in the black community.
