A supermajority of Progressive socialist Democrats in the legislature of California has led the citizens of the State to higher state taxes, high fuel taxes, higher cost of living faulty schools prohibitive health care for many and have succeeded in becoming one of the most unlivable states within our country. Coupled with policies such as a high-speed rail line to nowhere which is already tripled in the budget with no end date, and a sanctuary state status that a plurality of Californians does not want has plummeted the state to third world status.
The progressive elite with the influx of illegal aliens they have created and have no wish to stop, cocooned in their gated communities, have wreaked havoc on the communities of the middle class. They spend money as if it is the states and not the citizens of this state.
From an edict passed down by those who feel they are superiors on the usage of plastic bags to a waiter facing a fine and imprisonment for a plastic straw, the policies of the elite in Sacramento has made our state and those in it the laughing stock of the country. Rather than working on policies to help the veterans and other homeless to stand on their feet or get the medical help they need to at least have the opportunity to prosper and move forward in the community. Ignoring the drug problem that leaves needles in our street, rather than a factual, unbiased look at the challenges that illegal aliens and criminals that are prevalent in our roads, they move forward in every little step possible to turn California into a third world country.
The steps being taken by the Brown administration is directed to the failure of the middle class. The betters won’t care, they have the security and gated communities that they dwell in oblivious to the fact that the state is being demolished by those they bring in to be their nannies and gardeners on a pay scale no one else would work for. The consequences for the common working man in the state are inconsequential as your politicians bask in the savings of cheap labor and guaranteed voters.
Small business owners are leaving the state in droves. No longer can they afford to be stuck between state law and federal law. The state tax revenue continues to go down because businesses are closing up shop and going elsewhere, or don’t get started because the start-ups can’t afford the hassle of meeting regulations that are onerous and defy common sense.
Even U.S. News and World Report now have shown California with the worst poverty rate in the country. Coupled with the highest energy and water costs in the country and the imposition of land use requirements dictated by the state legislature without and input from the affected citizens, the state once again appears to want to force the middle class out to make room for the progressives socialist immigration voting base.
Federal Law is not on the side of California.
Article I, Section 8, Clause 4 gives Congress the authority to make the law to ensure the rules of Naturalization is uniform.
Article I Section 9 gives Congress the authority to make laws that prohibit persons of the Congress choosing from entering the country.
Article VI of the U.S. Constitution states that federal laws made in the pursuance of the Constitution have supremacy and the state can not make laws contrary to those federal laws passed by Congress. This supremacy clause is what Obama used in 2012 that forced Arizona to submit to the federal law pertaining to immigration. Interesting that now that the progressive socialists have a foothold in California they neglect to remember this decision.

What does it take to register to vote? In California, you must be at least 16 years old and be able to prove your identity and California Residency. AB103 passed in California was passed to prohibit local law enforcement from operating with ICE which prevents the federal government from performing its duties. This bill, in essence, allows the review of national immigration policies by the state, including access to privileged federal records that are controlled by ICE, allowing California to regulate federal immigration laws. Pelosi has stated that the attacks on California are unacceptable in the federal system of government created by the founders, ignoring the US Constitution Article I section 8 that allows the federal government to regulate commerce with foreign nations.
The Values Act/Sanctuary State Bill SB-54
SB54 transform the state of California into a sanctuary for illegal aliens hoping to avoid deportation contrary to federal law. It prohibits state and local agencies from sharing information to take part in any policy about immigration policy in violation of federal law. It prohibits state and local law enforcement officials from providing any information to federal immigration authorities about the release date of illegal immigrant criminals who may be in local custody. This is a violation of a law enacted by Congress 8 USC 1873.
Immigration Worker Protection Act –AB450
Attorney General Bercerra has claimed this will protect California citizens. Nothing is further from the truth. This is for the protection of illegal workers and gives employers time to clear out the illegals before ICE can come in showing a false compliance with the federal law.
It comes down to a progressive socialist cabal in the higher reaches of California government encroaching on federal law to try and dismantle the rules and regulations for immigration.The Latino caucus has vowed to fight in the streets against Trump and anyone who threatens sanctuary city policies and the unconstitutional benefits being given to those who are here illegally and a vast number of criminals. This is shown in numbers compiled by DHS that shows California has hidden released close to 50 gang members by not contacting ICE or ignoring detainers placed on these criminals who are members of MS-13.
Couple this with the Los Angeles City Council that requires disclosure of any company assisting the building the border wall so that the LA City Council can sever any work being done with these companies.
