With the nomination of Judge Amy Barrett to the Supreme Court by President Trump, people’s faith will come into focus. Attacks on religion, specifically Christianity, may become part of a new narrative. Read Bill Maher’s vicious attack on the judge’s religion here. We have already seen Black Lives Matter protests turn their wrath against churches as well. Christians are under attack worldwide at a rapidly rising rate. It seems that the Christian religion is under attack everywhere one looks. One of the drivers behind this is a belief that religion is not compatible with science and serves to block human advancement. Some have advocated that in order to save humanity we must kill God.
There are many examples of these anti-religionists. Historian Violet Moller (author of “The Map of Knowledge”), is just one of many. She echoes the cries of many anti-religionists that:
“… religion blocks progress and the advancement of science.”
Others are a little more sympathetic with religion – perhaps merely a political ploy, as voter demographics would suggest that direct attacks against religion may not be wise electorally. Christian Apologetics (philosophical) concerns itself primarily with arguments for the existence of God. They do not argue for specific religions or doctrines, rather focus on a philosophical creator deity (Deism). This would allow science and religion to live in harmony.
Religion is often mocked. The Flying Spaghetti Monster is the deity of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster or Pastafarianism is just one of those. It is a social movement that promotes a light-hearted view of religion and opposes the teaching of intelligent design and creationism in public schools. According to adherents, Pastafarianism is a “real, legitimate religion, as much as any other.”
The newest and most growing religion in Western countries is no religion at all (Atheism). In the developed Western countries Atheism is around 25%, though many that have faith in a God are essentially atheistic or agnostic as well. Aggressive Atheism abounds and is predatory – for our own good of course. Their purpose is to pour scorn on religious belief – they want it eradicated. What’s clear is that this wave of New Atheism is deeply political – and against some of its targets, devout churchgoers. More specifically, the white Christian male, a symbol they believe is at the center of power of the modern Western world.
Some suggest that the war on Christians is a myth. Is this true? Well, consider the following data-sets:

- Our intellectual leaders (the US and Western Countries) are more likely to be non-believers in religion (relative to population demographics), suggesting to lead the way in the changing religious demographics.
The anti-religion therapy offered by many Leftists is mostly targeting white men in Western countries. Why?
Why target men? Men are a direct threat to the traditional structure of family and the patriarchy – using academia to achieve this. If you want a job in any advanced career endeavor (often with good salaries), you must join with this Leftist ideology or be sidelined. This has an effect of degrading the family financially – taking resources from families during childbearing years. Another important side point featured on many university campuses is to involve men in all kinds of premarital sexual activities to further sow discord in the traditional family when young men prepare for family formations (Premarital Sex Partners Face Higher Divorce Rates). Tearing down the family is a key element to get people to surrender to the Leftist state – replacing the father of the family with the “daddy” government.
And what of this religion stalling science? For centuries people did not know what was on the other side of the oceans – sea monsters? Rickety ships that strayed too far from the old world were lost in storms, giving rise to these myths. Early scientists began to understand that, in fact, the word was a sphere and these myths were false. At first, people did not believe it. So how to get people to believe? Start a shaming and banning marketing campaign?
It was when better-built ships began to sail out around the world and bring back evidence for public consumption, people started to believe and later became fact. If someone does not believe you, you must provide better arguments – not ridicule, or play politics. The world has developed in amazing ways toward modernity under a Judeo-Christian world in the last few centuries. And what of the science of man coming from the natural world? When was the last time you have done an Abiogenesis experiment in a High School Biology class? Now let’s add in Climate Change and now Coronavirus. The debate of science vs. pseudoscience continues. To what goal? And the Coronavirus crisis science issues? Click here and here. These mostly manufactured crises are an attempt to instill fear among the population. With this fear and their pseudoscience solutions, these are mere attempts to get you to give up your individual sovereign liberties to be saved by them.
Anti-religionist, Atheists, Leftists, and Marxists all make up a unified cabal to try to kill God. They say that it is in the name of science for the benefit of mankind. The reality is it is about advancing their Left political agenda. This has been tried before. The Soviet Union was one the first state to have as an ideological objective the elimination of religion. Toward that end, the Communist regime confiscated church property, ridiculed religion, harassed believers, and propagated atheism in the schools. One must kill God in order for populations to replace God with the state.
It is worth noting that Americans have two distinct choices in the upcoming 2020 elections. One party removes God from the Pledge of Allegiance and the party platform and the other party highlights God and supports the assertion that America was created and blessed by divine providence. The Democrats and their Presidential nominee advocate for Planned Parenthood and abortion on demand in clinic settings up to delivery and using taxpayer funds to do so. Republicans and President Trump advocate for ending all taxpayer-funded abortions in clinics, late-term abortions in clinics, and champion the passage of the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. And one party enables, funds, and advocates for Marxist Black Lives Matter along with advocating Marxist/Socialist principles in its platform. One does not and upholds adherence to the U.S. Constitution, the rule of law, and free-market capitalism. The contrast could not be any more night and day.
The real objective today of the anti-religionists (mostly Christian) is the takedown of America and modern Western civilization.
