But, at the time, he hadn’t decided yet.

Now, he has decided that he’s finished, which is good news for America!Republican Rep. Don Bacon is considering retirement.
The Nebraska lawmaker told NOTUS on Friday that he is talking with his family about whether or not to run for reelection next year.
“I”ll make any final decisions in late summer,” Bacon told NOTUS. “It is a family decision.”

Rep. Bacon is a longtime Trump hater, who once labeled the America-First movement as Nazis.Rep. Don Bacon, a centrist Republican who represents a key battleground district in Nebraska, is planning to announce his retirement from Congress, according to two sources familiar with the situation.
He is expected to make a formal announcement as soon as next week, when the House is poised to vote on President Donald Trump’s sweeping legislation dubbed the “Big Beautiful Bill.”
He never even deleted this very out-of-touch tweet:

However, it’s also in a district that voted blue during the last two elections, so it’s also possible that a Democrat could replace his seat.
