President Trump famously gave his youngest son Barron credit for helping him reach out to young voters during his 2024 campaign.

And now, very fittingly, Barron Trump is reportedly being considered for a leading role at social media platform TikTok.

Barron, credited with helping his father connect with younger voters in 2024, has received support from former White House social media director Jake Advent, who said he’s “hopeful President Trump will appoint his son and other young Americans to TikTok’s board.”

Advent suggests Barron, credited with helping his father reach younger voters, could join TikTok’s board to keep the app appealing to young users.

TikTok, owned by Chinese company ByteDance, is transferring its US operations to American investors following the President’s executive order.

President Trump recently signed an executive order to save TikTok after months of hammering out a deal with U.S. investors in order to create an all-American version of the platform.

White House social media manager Jack Advent has proposed that Barron Trump would be a perfect fit for the new TikTok board.

President Donald Trump‘s former TikTok producer Jack Advent celebrated news of a deal to save the popular social media app TikTok — proposing that his son Barron could also have a greater role to play in the company.

Trump made his triumphant return to TikTok on Monday, sharing a video on his profile from the Oval Office that earned him over 6 million views in just a few hours.

‘To all those young people of TikTok, I saved TikTok, so you owe me big,’ the president said. ‘And now you’re looking at me in the Oval Office.’

The president signed an executive order to clear the way for investors to operate a United States version of the platform indicating the deal to save the platform was finally happening, despite months of delays.

‘President Trump delivered on his promise to save TikTok and the millions of Americans who run their businesses and get their unfiltered news through the app,’ Advent told the Daily Mail in reaction to the deal.

‘TikTok Jack,’ as Trump proudly referred to him on the campaign trail, is known as Jack Advent, who helped introduce the president to the wildly popular social media platform.

The details have yet to be settled, but the president’s executive order requires that a majority of US investors would purchase the app and it would be operated in the United States with a seven-seat board of directors.

Advent praised the president’s efforts exclusively to the Daily Mail, but proposed that the president include young people on the board.

‘Young people are overwhelmingly the user base of TikTok. I’m hopeful President Trump will consider appointing his son Barron and maybe other young Americans to TikTok’s board to help ensure it remains an app young people want to keep using,’ he said.

For the president’s communications and media team, the success of the TikTok deal represents a big step forward for young people on social media.

‘Promises made, promises kept. President Trump recognizes TikTok is the favorite platform of America’s youth and a powerful tool for small businesses and entrepreneurs to thrive,’ former advisor for the Trump campaign Alex Bruesewitz told the Daily Mail. ‘It is now here to stay.’

Barron has not yet commented on whether or not he would be open to the role.

But, both of his parents have praised him for helping his father connect with the younger generation of voters.

The New York Post reported:

Barron, who has just moved back into the White House while he attends classes at New York University’s DC campus in the nation’s capital, has yet to comment on the proposition.

Trump credited his son for guiding him on reaching a younger audience and helping him win his latest election.

Barron’s mother, first lady Melania Trump, previously said her son was instrumental because he “knows his generation.”
