It didn’t take long for Disney-owned ABC to cave in to the left’s demands and give Jimmy Kimmel his show back, in spite of his fake news lies about Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

However, that decision does not extend to local TV news stations.

Sinclair, Inc., a company that owns a significant amount of local ABC stations, just announced that they are sticking with their original plan to pull Jimmy Kimmel off the air.

Sinclair has MAJOR concerns about the show, and won’t bring Kimmel back until changes are made, the company said.

“Tuesday night, Sinclair will be preempting ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ across our ABC affiliate stations and replacing it with news programming. Discussions with ABC are ongoing as we evaluate the show’s potential return.”

Sinclair Broadcast Group says it will not air Jimmy Kimmel Live! on its networks from Tuesday, after ABC announced they would resume airing the show.

In a statement posted on X, Sinclair confirmed:

Notably, Sinclair owns the ABC station in Washington, D.C. — meaning the political hacks who live there will not be able to tune in to their favorite show any longer.

Per People:

Sinclair, which has ABC stations in 30 U.S. markets including KOMO in Seattle, Washington; WJLA in Washington, D.C.; KDNL in St. Louis, Missouri; KTUL in Tusla, Oklahoma; and KATU in Portland, Oregon, to name a few, has been vocal about supporting ABC’s initial decision to pull Live! from the air.

However, Sinclair did say they are open to airing Jimmy Kimmel again — under a few conditions.

Jimmy Kimmel would need to apologize and make a significant donation to Charlie Kirk’s family and TPUSA.

Sinclair had previously said it will refuse to lift the suspension of Kimmel’s show on its stations ‘until formal discussions are held with ABC regarding the network’s commitment to professionalism and accountability.’

The broadcaster also called on Kimmel to issue a ‘direct apology to the Kirk family’ and to make a ‘meaningful personal donation to the Kirk Family and Turning Point USA.’ TPUSA is a conservative college campus group founded by Kirk, with Kimmel a well-known liberal.

‘Mr. Kimmel’s remarks were inappropriate and deeply insensitive at a critical moment for our country,’ Sinclair Vice Chairman Jason Smith said in the announcement.

‘We believe broadcasters have a responsibility to educate and elevate respectful, constructive dialogue in our communities.’

Now, we need Nextstar — another company that owns a large portion of ABC affiliate stations — to follow suit!
