Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced that his office will pursue prosecution of one Laura Janeth Garza, a 38-year-old Mexican citizen accused of stealing the identity of an American and using it to vote illegally.
The case involves an activity that Democrats have insisted does not exist – voter fraud.
Garza illegally obtained documents in the name of a U.S. citizen and was discovered after that same person tried to obtain a passport already issued in her name.
A subsequent investigation revealed that the Mexican citizen then used her illegally obtained documents to vote in multiple elections.

Garza allegedly cast votes in elections held in 2004, 2012, and 2016. It'd be interesting to know which candidates she voted for and from which party.
She has been charged with two counts of election fraud – voter impersonation and ineligible voting – both second-degree felonies.
“This case demonstrates my office's commitment to protecting the integrity of elections,” Paxton said in a statement. “We will continue to do everything in our power to safeguard the electoral process in Texas.”
Another Indictment Against Vote Fraud in Texas. A citizen of Mexico used the name of a Texas woman to illegally vote in 3 elections. Texas will continue to fight cheating & illegal voting at the ballot box. #txlege #tx2018 #VoterFraud https://t.co/zFOcKogcJc

President Trump has been railing against illegal votes being cast in elections, claiming millions may have committed such a crime.
“They always like to say, ‘Oh that's a conspiracy theory,'” Trump said. “It's not a conspiracy theory. Millions and millions of people and it's very hard because the state guards their records.”
In addition to winning the Electoral College in a landslide, I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally

While this one case doesn't support the President's claims that ‘millions' of people have voted illegally, it does contradict claims from liberals that voter fraud is nothing more than a myth.
In March, a Texas woman was sentenced to five years in prison for voting illegally as a convicted felon.
