I have been SUCH a fan of Meghan McCain's lately.
She is absolutely KILLING IT on The View.
She's turned show that was once completely safe territory for LIBERAL HACKS into an actual conversation…
And she seldom lets liberal BULLCRAP slip by her. She calls it RIGHT OUT.
Anyway… Comey was on The View today, and I've been looking forward to this since she warned him what he was getting himself in to a few days ago…
It was EVERYTHING I could have hoped for!
As transcribed by the Daily Caller:
“I want to believe you're not a political person,” McCain said to Comey. “You're the head of the FBI, but you write in your book how you went to President Obama, and you were on the verge of tears, saying you were going to miss him. You also said were dreading the next four years with Trump.”
Tooootally not biased. Tooootally not political. DUH.
“You said very incendiary things about my party this morning,” she continued. “I'm a Republican who has many issues with Trump, that is not reflective of my party as a whole. The big issue I have is — I don't want to know your politics, and a lot of the things you're saying and doing are highly political, and I just don't understand what you gain, trying to sort of clear the deck here by bringing things like this up.
What does he gain? Well… a book deal.
That, of course, wasn't his answer:
“That's a good question,” Comey responded. “I don't think of it as my politics. I think of it as my values.”
HAHAHA.
McCain then brought up how Comey's wife went to the anti-Trump Women's March and was “very sad on election night.”
“But why bring up politics now?” McCain said. “No disrespect, but what your take on the current Republican Party is — I'm more interested in what you know about national security.”
“I brought it up because I was asked about it,” Comey said.
Um… someone asked him about his politics, so he wrote a DAMN BOOK?
Yeah. I don't think so.
Later in the interview, McCain told Comey that he sounds “like a political commentator.”
“I don't mean to be,” Comey responded. “I don't care whether people support a Republican or a Democrat, because I'm not either. I don't care who they support. I hope the conversation will start with values and come to policy second, because we're always going to fight about guns and taxes and immigration, but all we are as this country is a collection of values and that's what unites Republicans and Democrats.”
What a load of horse sh*t.
Comey is a HACK. End of discussion.
