Kash Patel apparently packed a flamethrower for his FBI budget hearing yesterday, because one nasty Democrat got absolutely SCORCHED.

Rep. Madeline Dean from Pennsylvania decided to pick a fight with the FBI Director.

She held up a copy of Patel’s book which details the insidious attacks he and others endured from her party over the last few years, as if it was somehow an incriminating piece of evidence against Director Patel.

And Kash wasn’t having any of it.

The video doesn’t capture it, but I’m absolutely certain he pulled a flamethrower out at SOME POINT during the exchange — you’ll never convince me otherwise.

He obviously decided before she let him talk that he wasn’t going to put up with Rep. Dean’s hypocritical accusations.

I can’t imagine what it must feel like to be a U.S. Congresswoman and have the Director of the FBI call you out for lying to the American people for ‘political banter’.

I’m frequently amazed how quick Democrat members of Congress are to walk right in to the firing line.

It’s as if they have no idea that President Trump’s team, agency heads, and basically every high-profile nominee he’s chosen has the ability to absolutely BRING IT.

But here’s Congresswoman Dean stumbling right in to the line of fire!

She holds up the very manifesto that outlines how HER OWN PARTY weaponized the FBI against Kash Patel, somehow expecting him to do — WHAT??? — something other than throw it in her face?

(I think it was somewhere at this point that he brought out the flamethrower, but I can’t be sure.)

He even succinctly offered to answer her question MORE IN LINE with her Congressional duty for the purpose of the hearing!

He offered to tell her how he would FIX the weaponization of the FBI with the funds in his budget, but she didn’t want to hear it according to the New York Post:

FBI Director Kash Patel turned the tables on a Democratic House lawmaker Wednesday who accused him of weaponizing the bureau to target political figures he wrote about in his 2023 book.

Rep. Madeleine Dean (D-Pa.) charged during a House Appropriations Committee hearing that an appendix of names in Patel’s book, “Government Gangsters: The Deep State, the Truth, and the Battle for Our Democracy,” is being used by Patel and President Trump as an “enemies list.”

“It concerns me how many people from this blueprint have been targeted with executive orders and FBI investigations,” Dean told the FBI director before asking, “When can I, a former impeachment manager, expect the FBI at my door?”

“Ma’am,” Patel responded. “You want to know who was targeted by a weaponized FBI? Me.

“You want to know how and why? You want to know what I’m doing to fix it?” the fiery FBI director continued, but Dean didn’t appear interested.

“Let me move on,” the congresswoman said, trying to change topics, before Patel interjected.

Not only did Rep. Dean seem to walk in to that firefight completely outmatched without a clue, but there was a far more legitimate point of contention that she could have VERY EASILY highlighted, instead.

The fact is, Kash Patel is REJECTING President Trump’s proposed budget for the FBI.

The White House budget includes huge cuts, and a big reduction in personnel that Kash Patel is pushing back against, arguing that he needs more money to do the mission appropriately.

There is literal daylight between the President and his FBI Director, and Rep. Dean chooses to attack Patel on something that is SURE to end with both her and the Democrats looking bad?

Some great theologian once quipped, “You can’t fix stupid” — and after watching Dean’s ill-prepared attack on Patel, I think he was very right.

Meanwhile, there seems to be a true break between the White House and Kash Patel over the FBI’s budget, according to one Fox News affiliate:

FBI Director Kash Patel broke with the Trump administration Wednesday over a budget proposal that would dramatically slash funding for the bureau, telling lawmakers, “We need more than what has been proposed.”

The 2026 budget proposal released on Friday calls for a funding cut of more than $500 million for the FBI as part of what the White House said was a desire to “reform and streamline” the bureau and reduce “non-law enforcement missions that do not align” with the priorities of President Donald Trump. Patel warned that such a cut would be harmful for the FBI as it reorients priorities to focus on violent crime.

Asked to specify at a House Appropriations subcommittee which positions would need to be cut if the funding reduction was implemented, Patel replied: “At this time, we have not looked at who to cut. We are focusing our energies on how not to have them cut by coming in here and highlighting to you that we can’t do the mission on those 2011 budget levels.”

“That’s the proposed budget — not by the FBI,” Patel replied. “The proposed budget that I put forward is to cover us for for $11.1 billion, which would not have us cut any positions.”

Patel also defended the FBI’s plan to relocate about 1,000 FBI employees from the Washington area to cities around the country, one of the first initiatives he revealed upon being sworn in as director in February.

“Part of the process is not just putting people out sporadically, throwing darts on the map. What we’ve done is we’ve taken a process with the (career employees) at the FBI and said, ‘Where are some of the most violent crime places in America?’” Patel said.

Rep. Dean’s apparent lack of intelligence was also put on display when she brought up the Wisconsin judge who was ARRESTED BY THE FBI for helping an illegal alien avoid capture by federal authorities.

The judge in that situation actually hid the illegal alien and his lawyer in her personal chambers, and helped them escape from her own private entrance!

She focused on the fact that the agents had a warrant, an administrative warrant as opposed to a judicial warrant signed by a judge, as if that mattered.

Hello — you don’t need a warrant to arrest and deport someone who is in this country ILLEGALLY!

The “due process” they are entitled to is literally GETTING ARRESTED and getting SENT BACK!

But here she is, trying to make it sound like the Trump Administration and Kash Patel’s FBI is breaking the law, when they are literally in the process of trying to uphold it (in spite of Democrat pushback!):

It still amazes me how quick the Democrats in Congress and their activist judge friends are to stick up for dangerous illegals more than American citizens.

Here’s that detailed breakdown of all the lies and inaccuracies Rep. Dean engaged in during that hearing with Patel:

1/ First, let’s set the stage. Kash Patel, now FBI Director, didn’t hold back in this C-SPAN hearing: “You’re accusing me of committing perjury. Have the audacity to actually put the facts forward instead of lying for political banter so you can have a 20-second donation hit.”

This isn’t just a soundbite it’s a demand for accountability.

2/ Rep. Dean claimed J6 rioters “beat and killed Capitol Police officers.” But let’s look at the facts: Officer Brian Sicknick, often cited in these narratives, died of natural causes (stroke) the day after J6, not from riot injuries, per the D.C. Medical Examiner’s report in April 2021. No officers were killed by rioters that day. Why does Dean keep pushing this?

3/ Dean also accused Patel of enabling a “weaponized FBI” while ignoring the last four years under Biden. Dean “decries a weaponized FBI after four years of weaponization under Biden” and “lies about J6.” The hypocrisy is glaring. The FBI’s own data shows 26,000+ domestic investigations opened from 2017-2021 many politically charged. Who’s really weaponizing?

4/ Dean and others blame Trump, “The J6 committee buried evidence proving Trump authorized National Guard troops days before the Capitol breach testimony from career officials like Tony Ornato was suppressed.” Transcripts from the House Administration Committee (Sep 2024) confirm Trump directed the Pentagon to “keep January 6 safe.” Why was this ignored?

5/ The narrative around Nancy Pelosi’s role in J6 security is another mess. says Pelosi didn’t block the National Guard she doesn’t even have that authority. The Capitol Police Board (House/Senate Sergeants at Arms and Architect of the Capitol) makes that call. But footage shows Pelosi refusing additional security measures, and the board delayed the Guard until after the riot started. Why the delay? Who benefits from this chaos?

6/ Kash Patel’s history gives him credibility to call this out. As a former federal prosecutor and Trump advisor, he’s been in the trenches. He even investigated Truth Social’s corporate culture in 2022, getting paid $130,000 to expose toxicity under co-founders Andy Dean and Wes Moss. Patel’s not afraid to dig for truth whether it’s in tech or Congress.

7/ Meanwhile, Madeleine Dean’s track record shows she’s deep in the political game. She’s been in politics since her teens, elected to an Abington Township committee post-high school, per her Wikipedia bio. She’s a career politician who won her 4th District seat with 59.5% against Kathy Barnette in her last election. But her J6 claims don’t add up ,why risk her reputation on easily debunked narratives? “She’s a career politician” — maybe that’s a big part of the problem?

She can moan and complain about her political opponents, and even the weaponization of the FBI, all she wants…

Because in reality, she doesn’t CARE. (Maybe that’s why she didn’t even do her homework and chose a better line of attack?)

She doesn’t care, because this is all just a show for her. She’s just going through the motions, collecting her Congressional salary along with whatever corrupt kickbacks and under-the-table deals she has managed to secure from her position.

She doesn’t really care about Patel, the FBI, President Trump, Congress, or any of the rest of it.

THAT… is why so many of these career politicians seem so dumb with how they respond to things. (Well, that, and the fact that a lot of them are DUMB.)

But they truly don’t CARE. As Kash Patel boldly pointed out, she’s more interested in crafting a deceitful narrative for “political banter” than anything else.

It’s what keeps the money flowing, and it’s what keeps her in her comfy seat of power.

President Trump may have won the election, and I’ll not pretend that he’s not KILLING IT pretty much across the board!

But too many of these bloodsucking creatures are still wandering the halls of Congress, soaking up taxpayer funds, and selling out our country for their own selfish gain.

Not even a reduction in the FBI budget is going to fix this country.

It’s time TERM LIMITS become an issue again.

Because that’s the ONLY thing that will truly end the institutionalized WEAPONIZATION of governmental institutions in this country, and put us firmly back on a righteous footing.
