I think US politics are the same as here in the UK. You can make a difference. Never be ashamed of what you believe, if I can just get one person to step up, then I've made a difference: in the words of Captain James T Kirk: A small difference is better than no difference at all.

My husband voted last week because you can vote early in Kansas, but I'm voting today. Lines are reported to be extremely long around here. Dems are blaming Republicans in Missouri for preventing early voting there. They claim it decreases Dems voting. So Republicans never vote early?

It does decrease dem voting... ILLEGAL voting. Along with voter I.D., cleaning up the voter rolls, and re-instating felons eligibility to vote.
