Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk has reached her “breaking point” over the conspiracy theories circulating about the assassination of her husband, TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk.
Kirk torched conspiracy theorists on Wednesday in an appearance on Fox News while promoting her late husband’s posthumously published book, “Stop In The Name Of God.” She addressed rumors about her, her friends, and her organization, saying that empty hypothesizing has led to a torrent of death threats and harassment against them.
“Call me what you want, go down that rabbit hole, whatever. But when you go after my family, my Turning Point USA family, my ‘Charlie Kirk Show’ family, when you go after the people that I love and you’re making hundreds and thousands of dollars every single episode going after the people that I love, because somehow they’re in on this? No,” said Kirk.
“This is righteous anger, because this is not okay. It’s not healthy. This is a mind virus,” she added.
Kirk and Turning Point USA have been the center of conspiracy theories since Charlie Kirk was assassinated while speaking at a Utah college in September. The conspiracists have heaped suspicion on a number of Charlie’s closest friends and family members, including Erika. Kirk said on Wednesday that even her jewelry, which she has dubbed the “conspiracy collection,” has become a topic of debate.Erika Kirk responds to those who are pushing conspiracy theories about Charlie Kirk’s Death:

Despite the suspicion cast upon her and Turning Point, Kirk says she has compassion for the conspiracists.
“You know what I thought? I thought, these people are human, we’re all grieving in our own way, and they are trying to find the answer to something that happened that was so evil. They are trying so hard, and I get that. We’re doing the same.”
But the conspiracies and scrutiny have become too much for many of the people at Turning Point.
“My team are not machines and they’re not robots. They are human. We have more death threats on our team and our side than I have ever seen. I have kidnapping threats. You name it, we have it, and my poor team is exhausted,” she added. “Every time they bring this back up, what are we supposed to do? Relive that trauma all over again? They watched my husband get murdered.”
Kirk and Turning Point USA had been silent about the conspiracies until last week, when the organization tackled them head-on in a livestream. The organization invited Candace Owens, who has pushed conspiracy theories about the assassination, to join the podcast. Owens said she could not attend.
On Wednesday, Kirk was adamant that Turning Point USA would not be distracted by the conspiracies and would continue to do the work her husband began.
“I’m not going to sit in a corner and cry and be in a fetal position. This is a duty to my husband, and it’s an absolute honor, and I will never back down. And so my message to them is to stop,” Kirk said.
Owens once said she would stop promoting the conspiracies about Turning Point USA if Erika Kirk asked her to. But she appeared to recant that position on Wednesday and called Kirk’s comments “an unbelievably emotional response that is absent of any logic.”
